Scholars from educational technology, communication, and higher education share their research work in various formats such as empirical research, best-practice case studies, literature reviews, etc. The topics of the papers are divided into four main areas, including curriculum, pedagogy and instructional design; teaching and learning experiences with technology; online learning and open education resources; and communication and media. The book’s unique quality is its combination of perspectives and research work on communication, education and technology. Thus, it will encourage an interdisciplinary discourse and exchange concerning communication, new media, and educational practices.Educational Communications and Technology Yearbook,2524-4086Educational technologyLearning, Psychology ofCommunicationDigital Education and Educational TechnologyInstructional PsychologyMedia and CommunicationEducational technology.Learning, Psychology of.Communication.Digital Education and Educational Technology.Instructional Psychology.Media and Communication.371.33Ma Will W. Summary and Conclusions -- Subject Index -- BibliographyThe problem of truth and the liar paradox is one of the most extensive problems of philosophy. The liar paradox can be avoided by assuming a so-called theory of partial truth instead of a classical theory of truth. Theories of partial truth, however, cannot solve the so-called strengthened liar paradox, which is the problem that many semantic statements about the so-called strengthened liar cannot be true in a theory of partial truth. If such semantic statements were true in the theory, another paradox would emerge. To proponents of contextual accounts, which assume that the concept of truth is context-dependent, the strengthened liar paradox is the core of the liar problem. This book provides an overview of current contextual approaches to the strengthened liar paradox. For this purpose, the author investigates formal theories of truth that result from formal reconstructions of such contextual approaches.Logos (Frankfurt am Main, Germany) ;Bd. 20.TruthLiar paradoxTruth.Liar paradox.121Schurz Christine1851710MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910955504903321Contextual approaches to truth and the strengthened liar paradox4445950UNINA
