The treatise entitled Ḍawʾ al-sārī li-maʿrifat ḫabar Tamīm al-Dārī by al-Maqrīzī (d. 845/1442) is the core of the book. It is edited here for the first time on the sole basis of the copy corrected by the author. A facsimile of the manuscript is also provided at the end of the book. In order to illuminate the discourse on property rights and donation that prevailed in the Mamluk period and al-Maqrīzī’s position, two additional treatises dealing with the same issue are included. The first is al-Ǧawāb al-ǧalīl ʿan ḥukm balad al-Ḫalīl by Ibn Ḥaǧar al-ʿAsqalānī (d. 852/1448). The second is al-Faḍl al-ʿamīm fī iqṭāʿ Tamīm by al-Suyūṭī (911/1505). The three texts are fully translated and annotated and preceded by a thorough introduction.Bibliotheca Maqriziana2.WaqfWest BankHebronHistoryWaqfHistory.956.95/1Frenkel Yehoshua1199653Frenkel Yehoshua1199653Maqrīzī Aḥmad ibn ʻAlī1364-1442.651587Maqrīzī Aḥmad ibn ʻAlī1364-1442.651587Ibn Ḥajar al-ʻAsqalānī Aḥmad ibn ʻAlī1372-1449.1241282Ibn Hajar al-ʻAsqalani Ahmad ibn ʻAli (1372-1449)1241282Suyūṭī1445-1505.720235MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910807286003321Daw al-sârǐ li-ma rifat habar Tamǐm al-Dărǐ4092773UNINA04759nam 22006615 450 991087806080332120251225200645.09783031656651303165665210.1007/978-3-031-65665-1(MiAaPQ)EBC31569762(Au-PeEL)EBL31569762(CKB)33450023100041(DE-He213)978-3-031-65665-1(OCoLC)1450451620(EXLCZ)993345002310004120240724d2024 u| 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierRough Sets International Joint Conference, IJCRS 2024, Halifax, NS, Canada, May 17–20, 2024, Proceedings, Part I /edited by Mengjun Hu, Chris Cornelis, Yan Zhang, Pawan Lingras, Dominik Ślęzak, JingTao Yao1st ed. 2024.Cham :Springer Nature Switzerland :Imprint: Springer,2024.1 online resource (384 pages)Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence,2945-9141 ;148399783031656644 3031656644 -- Rough Set Models and Foundations. -- Mapper-Based Rough Sets. -- On Tolerance-based Rough Set Operators and Their Covering Generalizations. -- Parametrized γ-Decision Valuation for Variable Precision Rough Set Model. -- Rough Algebraic Semantics of Concepts in Distributed Cognition Perspective. -- Description logic for rough concepts. -- Rule Induction and Machine Learning. -- Greedy Algorithm for Construction of Deterministic Decision Trees for Conventional Decision Tables from Closed Classes. -- Study of Dependency Degree and Bayesian Networks for Conflict Scenarios. -- Consideration of Detecting Data and Functional Dependency in Tabular Data with Missing Values by the Obtained Rules.. -- Distance-Based Fuzzy-Rough Sets and Their Application To The Classification Problem. -- Dealing with Missing Values Meaning Unknown in Probabilistic Approximations. -- On Complexity of Deterministic and Nondeterministic Decision Trees for Decision Tables with Many-valued Decisions from Closed Classes. -- Simulating Functioning of Decision Trees for Tasks on Decision Rule Systems. -- RIONIDA: A Novel Algorithm for Imbalanced Data Combining Instance-Based Learning and Rule Induction. -- Granular Computing. -- Information System in the Light of Interactive Granular Computing. -- GBTWSVM: Granular-ball Twin Support Vector Machine. -- Fuzzy Granular-balls based Spectral Clustering. -- A Vector Is a Granule: A Novel Extension of the Variable Precision Rough Set Model. -- Rough Set Applications. -- Cross-Weighting Knowledge Distillation for Object Detection. -- A Method of Multi-USV Reward Design Using Fuzzy Control. -- Hyp-DAN: Hyperbolic Distance-aware Attention Networks. -- Optimizing Rough Set Flow Graph Inference. -- Multimodal Propaganda Detection in Memes with Tolerance-based Soft Computing Method. This two-volume set LNAI 14839-14840 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the International Joint Conference on Rough Sets, IJCRS 2024, held in Halifax, NS, Canada, during May 17–20, 2024.
