Im Rahmen einer Interventionsstudie wurde eine Lehrerfortbildung entwickelt und evaluiert, in der die Kompetenzen der Chemielehrkräfte gefördert werden sollen, die letztendlich für die Förderung der Erkenntnisgewinnungskompetenzen der Lernenden im Chemieunterricht bedeutsam sind. Im Mittelpunkt der Fortbildung steht das Experimentieren gemäß dem naturwissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisweg. Die Evaluation dieser eintägigen Lehrerfortbildung erfolgte auf den vier Ebenen (1) Zufriedenheit und Akzeptanz der Fortbildungsteilnehmerinnen und -teilnehmer, (2) Kognitive Veränderungen, (3) Wirkung auf das unterrichtspraktische Handeln und (4) Effekte auf die Schülerinnen und Schüler.
