The economy is recovering and inflationary pressures have abated. After a 0.4 percent GDP decline in 2012, Mali’s economy is on the mend. The improvement in the security situation and the resumption of donor assistance has helped revive business confidence. Activity is picking up in the service sectors hardest hit by the crisis (commerce, hotels, and restaurants). The banking sector is showing signs of strain. Resumption of donor support brightens the economic outlook; however, the generally positive outlook is subject to several risks.IMF Staff Country Reports; Country Report ;No. 2013/380Fiscal policyMaliExports and ImportsimfMacroeconomicsimfMoney and Monetary PolicyimfPublic FinanceimfStatisticsimfInternational Lending and Debt ProblemsimfNational Government Expenditures and Related Policies: GeneralimfTaxation, Subsidies, and Revenue: GeneralimfDebtimfDebt ManagementimfSovereign DebtimfMonetary Policy, Central Banking, and the Supply of Money and Credit: GeneralimfData Collection and Data Estimation MethodologyimfComputer Programs: OtherimfPublic finance & taxationimfInternational economicsimfMonetary economicsimfEconometrics & economic statisticsimfFinanceimfRevenue administrationimfPublic financial management (PFM)imfExternal debtimfPublic debtimfCreditimfExpenditureimfMoneyimfDebts, ExternalimfRevenueimfFinance, PublicimfDebts, PublicimfExpenditures, PublicimfMaliimfFiscal policyExports and ImportsMacroeconomicsMoney and Monetary PolicyPublic FinanceStatisticsInternational Lending and Debt ProblemsNational Government Expenditures and Related Policies: GeneralTaxation, Subsidies, and Revenue: GeneralDebtDebt ManagementSovereign DebtMonetary Policy, Central Banking, and the Supply of Money and Credit: GeneralData Collection and Data Estimation MethodologyComputer Programs: OtherPublic finance & taxationInternational economicsMonetary economicsEconometrics & economic statisticsFinanceRevenue administrationPublic financial management (PFM)External debtPublic debtCreditExpenditureMoneyDebts, ExternalRevenueFinance, PublicDebts, PublicExpenditures, Public332.1DcWaIMFBOOK9910826308603321Mali2599848UNINA
