While Hegel claims that substance can be understood as the realization of freedom, Marx shows this freedom to be alienated labor: abstract labor, which Marx identifies as the capitalist conception of value. The book clarifies why Marx’s so-called materialist criticism of Hegel can be conceived of as an immanent criticism of Hegel: Marx’s criticism explicates that the realization of freedom in the Philosophy of Right contradicts Hegel’s basic point of departure. The adequate realization of freedom not only leads to an alternative (non-alienated) conception of value, but also explains why this conception of value is fully compatible with the free market.Critical studies in German idealism ;Volume 13.CapitalismCapitalism.335.4/12Cobben Paul1596446MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910823800103321Value in capitalist society3922909UNINA02455nam 2200601Ia 450 991043795350332120200520144314.03-642-31310-810.1007/978-3-642-31310-3(CKB)3710000000015835(EBL)1030275(OCoLC)855968981(SSID)ssj0000987919(PQKBManifestationID)11584597(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000987919(PQKBWorkID)10948550(PQKB)11029529(DE-He213)978-3-642-31310-3(MiAaPQ)EBC1030275(PPN)17242531X(EXLCZ)99371000000001583520130817d2013 uy 0engur|n|---|||||txtccrLandslide science and practiceVolume 3Spatial analysis and modelling /Claudio Margottini, Paolo Canuti, Kyoji Sassa, editors1st ed. 2013.Berlin ;New York Springerc20131 online resource (423 p.)Description based upon print version of record.3-642-31309-4 Includes bibliographical references and index.Advances in Slope Stability Modelling -- Rapid Landslide Runout Analysis -- GIS Applications Developments. This book contains peer-reviewed papers from the Second World Landslide Forum, organised by the International Consortium on Landslides (ICL), that took place in September 2011. The rise of technocracy in contemporary Chinese politics is not only attributed to the meritocratic tradition based on civil service exams in ancient China but also tied to the current authoritarian political system that relies on the top-down cadre promotion approach instead of public elections. Leaders with technocratic backgrounds have brought changes to China’s political landscape since technocrats tend to solve governance issues using technical solutions in an industrialized society as compared to pure politicians and revolutionaries, who are inclined to resort to political, and sometimes populist, options. This book examines the specific tech areas from which top technocrats have been emerging in Chinese politics, which include military and aerospace industry, public health, engineering and science, economics and finance, as well as information technology. It is a unique research monograph based on research on China’s evolving technocracy and its political, economic and international implications that provides a detailed and thorough study of the country’s industrial policies being reshaped by these technocrats and their likelihood of joining the Chinese Communist Party’s top echelon in the next five to ten years. .AsiaPolitics and governmentAsiaEconomic conditionsPublic administrationInternational relationsAsian PoliticsAsian EconomicsPublic AdministrationInternational RelationsAsiaPolitics and government.AsiaEconomic conditions.Public administration.International relations.Asian Politics.Asian Economics.Public Administration.International Relations.320.951Chen Gang428353MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQ9910728399903321Political Implications of China's Technocracy in the Reform Era3379734UNINA
