Toronto, Ontario, Canada is the host city for this year's conference. ICER stands as the premier ACM forum for dissemination and discussion of the latest findings in computing education research across the globe. ICER research papers represent significant, rigorous contributions to the field. One hundred thirty-seven research papers were submitted, with twenty-eight papers accepted for publication in the conference proceedings in the ACM Digital Library (a 20% acceptance rate). All papers were double-blind peer reviewed by three members of the program committee. In addition, each paper received a meta-review by a member of the senior program committee, with the two Program Co-Chairs making final acceptance decisions. In addition to the research paper presentations, ICER includes a number of other activities. Poster sessions allow ICER attendees to present early results, gain feedback from conference attendees, find collaborators on a topic, and/or spark discussion among conference participants. The Doctoral Consortium conference serves a vital mentoring and advising role for upcoming discipline-based computing education researchers. The Work in Progress workshop is a dedicated one-day workshop for ICER attendees to provide and receive friendly, constructive feedback on research during formative stages of development. Abstracts from both the Poster sessions and the Doctoral Consortium are included in the proceedings.ACM international conference proceedings series.Computer scienceVocational guidanceComputer scienceVocational guidance.004.023McCartney RobertNjHacINjHaclBOOK9910412088403321ICER'193448066UNINA04472nam 2200529 450 991082254940332120230327185601.01-5015-0932-210.1515/9781501509322(CKB)4100000007150823(MiAaPQ)EBC5601239(DE-B1597)493398(OCoLC)1076803982(DE-B1597)9781501509322(Au-PeEL)EBL5601239(CaPaEBR)ebr11638495(EXLCZ)99410000000715082320181221d2003 uy 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierZircon /editors, John M.
