The 17 revised full papers presented were selected from 57 submissions; also included are three invited contributions. The volume is devoted to the use of crisp, clear mathematics in the discovery and design of algorithms and in the development of corresponding software and hardware; varoius approaches to formal methods for systems design and analysis are covered.Lecture Notes in Computer Science,0302-9743 ;1422ComputersSoftware engineeringComputer programmingAlgorithmsComputer logicTheory of Computationhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I16005Software Engineering/Programming and Operating Systemshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14002Programming Techniqueshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14010Software Engineeringhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14029Algorithm Analysis and Problem Complexityhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I16021Logics and Meanings of Programshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I1603XComputers.Software engineering.Computer programming.Algorithms.Computer logic.Theory of Computation.Software Engineering/Programming and Operating Systems.Programming Techniques.Software Engineering.Algorithm Analysis and Problem Complexity.Logics and Meanings of Programs.004.2/1/0151Jeuring Johanedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtMPC '98BOOK996466141303316Mathematics of Program Construction772229UNISA03048nam 2200613 450 991082234300332120230809223529.00-255-36742-20-255-36741-4(CKB)3710000001140496(MiAaPQ)EBC4835268(EXLCZ)99371000000114049620170420d2017 uy 0engurcnu||||||||rdacontentrdamediardacarrierSea change how markets and property rights could transform the fishing industry /edited by Richard Wellings ; with contributions from Paul Dragos Aligica [et al.]London :The Institute of Economic Affairs,2017.©20171 online resource (xviii, 144 p.) map0-255-36740-6 Includes bibliographical referencesGovernment management of fisheries has been little short of disastrous. In many regions, valuable fish stocks have collapsed as a result of overfishing. Ill-conceived regulation also means that every year millions of tons of edible fish are thrown back dead into the sea. While an absence of established property rights means that wild fish are vulnerable to overfishing, the problem is greatly exacerbated by large subsidies. State intervention has created significant overcapacity in the industry and undermined the economic feedback mechanisms that help to protect stocks. This short book sets out a range of policy options to improve outcomes. As well as ending counterproductive subsidies, these include community-based management of coastal zones and the introduction of individual transferable quotas. The analysis is particularly relevant to the UK as it begins the process of withdrawal from the European Union. After decades of mismanagement under the Common Fisheries Policy, Brexit represents a major opportunity to adopt an economically rational approach that benefits the fishing industry, taxpayers and consumersFish tradeUnited StatesFishersUnited Statesfishery managementeurovocengmaritime economyeurovocengcommon fisheries policyeurovocengintervention policyeurovocengproduction surpluseurovocengUnited Kingdomeurovocengwithdrawal from the EUeurovocengFish tradeFishersfishery managementmaritime economycommon fisheries policyintervention policyproduction surplusUnited Kingdomwithdrawal from the EU338.37120097356.36.20EP-CLASSWellings RichardAligică Paul DragoșMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910822343003321Sea change2734658UNINA
