Euro and Economic Governance: National Priorities and Quest for Stability -- The Authors.Today’s European Union is in an identity crisis as it seems to be losing its points of reference. The principles that upheld its creation are being increasingly questioned around the world and within the EU itself. Its chances to survive hinge upon its ability to deliver at home and abroad, without abandoning its values and principles but rather adapting and re-launching them. This volume offers policy options on key questions for the future of the EU: How to scale-up its role abroad? How to benefit from new partners without severing ties with traditional allies such as the US? How to contain Eurosceptic forces by reducing inequalities? And how to reinforce the euro while aiming at more sustainable and balanced growth?Europe in Identity Crisis International relationsInternational relations.327Altomonte CarloVillafranca AntonioMassolo GiampieroNjHacINjHaclBOOK9910367723203321Europe in Identity Crisis3040862UNINA01507oam 2200433 450 991070476150332120130807083657.0(CKB)5470000002444109(OCoLC)625688501(OCoLC)679731184(EXLCZ)99547000000244410920100521d1985 ua 0engurbn|||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierLow-cost opportunity for small-scale manufacture of hardwood blanks /Bruce G. The unwanted pregnancy is considered particularly in the light of the Abortion Act 1967, s.1(1)(d) and the related action for so-called wrongful birth due to faulty ante-natal care. The unexpected or uncovenanted birth of a healthy child resulting from failed sterilisation is approached through an analysis of the seminal case of McFarlane and associated cases involving disability in either the neonate or the mother. The disabled neonate's right to sue for its diminished life is discussed and the legal approach to the management of severe congenital disease is analysed - thus following Baroness Hale in believing that care of the newborn is an integral part of pregnancy. Aspects are considered from historical and comparative perspectives, including coverage of experience in the USA, the Commonwealth and Europe.Cambridge law, medicine, and ethics ;5.Human reproductionLaw and legislationAbortionLaw and legislationSterilization (Birth control)Law and legislationWrongful lifeNewborn infantsLegal status, laws, etcHuman reproductionLaw and legislationGreat BritainAbortionLaw and legislationGreat BritainSterilization (Birth control)Law and legislationGreat BritainWrongful lifeGreat BritainNewborn infantsLegal status, laws, etcGreat BritainHuman reproductionLaw and legislation.AbortionLaw and legislation.Sterilization (Birth control)Law and legislation.Wrongful life.Newborn infantsLegal status, laws, etc.Human reproductionLaw and legislationAbortionLaw and legislationSterilization (Birth control)Law and legislationWrongful lifeNewborn infantsLegal status, laws, etc.344.0419Mason J.
