It explores issues such as materials and methods, beliefs and attitudes, messages imparted, pedagogical challenges, and implications for national and religious identity and universal values. Comparative and multi-dimensional analyses of sub-populations, such as by age and type of school, were conducted. The practical and theoretical implications of the findings are considered in the context of Shoah education in Israel and other educational settings over the past half century.Jewish Identity in Post-Modern SocietyHolocaust, Jewish (1939-1945)Study and teachingIsraelHolocaust, Jewish (1939-1945)Study and teaching940.531807105694Cohen Erik1619550Medovoy Adell980664MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910817817703321Identity and pedagogy in Holocaust education4009768UNINA02851nam 22006135 450 991025463730332120200630022605.03-319-31729-610.1007/978-3-319-31729-8(CKB)3710000000627532(EBL)4461642(SSID)ssj0001654068(PQKBManifestationID)16432853(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001654068(PQKBWorkID)14982391(PQKB)10448923(DE-He213)978-3-319-31729-8(MiAaPQ)EBC4461642(PPN)192773127(EXLCZ)99371000000062753220160331d2016 u| 0engur|n|---|||||txtccrInfrared Non-local Modifications of General Relativity /by Ermis Mitsou1st ed. 2016.Cham :Springer International Publishing :Imprint: Springer,2016.1 online resource (186 p.)Springer Theses, Recognizing Outstanding Ph.D. Research,2190-5053"Doctoral thesis accepted by the University of Geneva, Switzerland."3-319-31728-8 Includes bibliographical references at the end of each chapters.Introduction -- Linear massless/massive gauge theories -- Subtleties of non-local field theory -- Non-local gravity -- Cosmology -- Conclusions. This thesis presents significant new results on the problem of understanding the origin of dark energy in cosmology. The work develops an original approach based on modifications of General Relativity at cosmological scales, introducing non-local effective terms that can in principle emerge from fundamental local theories. Both the phenomenological consequences and theoretical aspects of the proposal are developed in depth. The thesis also contains significant new material compared to that published by the author in scientific journals.Springer Theses, Recognizing Outstanding Ph.D. Research,2190-5053GravitationCosmologyClassical and Quantum Gravitation, Relativity Theoryhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P19070Cosmologyhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P22049Gravitation.Cosmology.Classical and Quantum Gravitation, Relativity Theory.Cosmology.530.11Mitsou Ermisauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut805197MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910254637303321Infrared Non-local Modifications of General Relativity1807710UNINA01176nam0 22003011i 450 UON0023210120231205103507.38605-202-2529-520030730d2001 |0itac50 baengUS|||| |||||Marianne in the marketEnvisioning, consumer society in fin-de-siècle FranceLisa TierstenBerkeleyLos Angeles ; London2001XIII, 321 p.23 cm.EuropaCultura del consumoSec. 17.-19.UONC047326FIFRANCIAStoria economicaSec. 19.UONC035227FIUSBerkeleyUONL000021USLos AngelesUONL000060GBLondonUONL003044TIERSTENLisaUONV140672687249University of California PressUONV247423650ITSOL20250808RICASIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEOUONSIUON00232101SIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEOSI EUR D A 2553 SI SC 37674 5 2553 Marianne in the market1272862UNIOR03140nam 2200613Ia 450 991022015310332120200520144314.00-8330-4944-5(CKB)2670000000014537(EBL)510392(OCoLC)593354959(SSID)ssj0000336579(PQKBManifestationID)11286687(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000336579(PQKBWorkID)10282085(PQKB)11407824(Au-PeEL)EBL510392(CaPaEBR)ebr10375771(MiAaPQ)EBC510392(oapen)doab114869(EXLCZ)99267000000001453720091209d2009 uy 0engur|n|---|||||txtccrA delicate balance portfolio analysis and management for intelligence information dissemination programs /Eric Landree ...
