Ashley Roach and Zhen Sun.High Seas Governance: Gaps and Challenges identifies gaps and challenges to the existing legal regime in the protection and preservation of the marine environment of the high seas, including sensitive marine areas. The gaps identified in the book include the failure of liability and compensation schemes to cover pollution of the high seas and the fact that no state has the responsibility to clean up pollution of the high seas. One common theme of the book is that it is necessary to identify a state other than flag states, port states or coastal states, which should have an obligation to exercise jurisdiction and control over certain activities on the high seas.Publications on Ocean Development86.Law of the seaMarine pollutionLaw and legislationInternational cooperationMarine debrisEnvironmental aspectsMarine resources conservationLaw and legislationMarine resources developmentLaw and legislationLaw of the sea.Marine pollutionLaw and legislationInternational cooperation.Marine debrisEnvironmental aspects.Marine resources conservationLaw and legislation.Marine resources developmentLaw and legislation.341.4/5Beckman Robert C(Law teacher),McCreath MillicentRoach J. The formation and reactions of diazonium ions are also discussed. This knowledge is then applied to the synthesis of pseudoephedrine, highlighting the key aspects of synthesis, such as yields, stereochemistry and reaction conditions. A Case Study on the organic chemical industry completes the book, providing a background as to why understanding organic reactions is so important.Molecular world.AlkenesAromatic compoundsAlkenes.Aromatic compounds.547.412Taylor Peter445538Gagan Michael1617962Royal Society of Chemistry (Great Britain)Open University.MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910817312303321Alkenes and aromatics3949395UNINA
