Diesem Desiderat widmet sich das vorliegende Buch, indem es das Entscheiden unter linguistischen Gesichtspunkten modelliert. Auf der Basis einer Darstellung der interdisziplinären Entscheidungsforschung wird der Untersuchungsgegenstand in einem heuristischen Verfahren linguistisch formiert. Dabei wird deutlich, dass die kommunikative Praxis des Entscheidens nur angemessen analysiert werden kann, wenn der Ansatz der Funktionalen Pragmatik und der Diskurslinguistik zur Anwendung kommen.
