And yet even the linear theory of these equations is at a very early stage. This text examines various Dirichlet problems that can be formulated for Keldysh-type equations, one of the two main classes of linear elliptic-hyperbolic equations. Open boundary conditions (in which data are prescribed on only part of the boundary) and closed boundary conditions (in which data are prescribed on the entire boundary) are both considered. Emphasis is placed on the formulation of boundary conditions for which solutions can be shown to exist in an appropriate function space, and specific applications to plasma physics, optics, and analysis on projective spaces are discussed.Lecture Notes in Mathematics,0075-8434 ;2043Partial differential equationsPartial Differential Equationshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M12155Partial differential equations.Partial Differential Equations.515/.353MAT 354fstubMAT 355fstubMAT 357fstubSI 850rvkOtway Thomas Hauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut167751BOOK996466627503316Dirichlet problem for elliptic-hyperbolic equations of Keldysh type239895UNISA00776nam0-2200265 --450 991080499750332120240222103643.020240222d1973----kmuy0itay5050 baengUSa 001yyPhymatotrichum root rotRubert B.
