Este volumen ofrece investigaciones basadas en las nuevas aportaciones de las diferentes ramas de la Lingüística, con el fin de contribuir a que la explicación del desarrollo diacrónico de las unidades léxicas sea lo más adecuada y rigurosa posible.Lingüística iberoamericana ;v. 71.Spanish languageLexicographyMethodologySpanish languageLexicographyHistorySpanish languageLexicographyMethodology.Spanish languageLexicographyHistory.463.028IM 6560rvkGarcés Gómez María del Pilar1465494MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910793267703321Perspectivas Teoricas y Metodologicas en la Elaboracion de un Diccionario Historico3696699UNINA04576nam 2200817 450 991079735840332120200520144314.00-520-96245-110.1525/9780520962453(CKB)3710000000448865(EBL)2006721(OCoLC)914230622(SSID)ssj0001518708(PQKBManifestationID)12640036(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001518708(PQKBWorkID)11529567(PQKB)10558303(MiAaPQ)EBC2006721(DE-B1597)519145(DE-B1597)9780520962453(Au-PeEL)EBL2006721(CaPaEBR)ebr11079933(CaONFJC)MIL813994(EXLCZ)99371000000044886520150730h20152015 uy 0engur|nu---|u||utxtccrDavid Brower the making of the environmental movement /Tom Turner ; foreword by Bill McKibbenOakland, California :University of California Press,2015.©20151 online resource (321 p.)Description based upon print version of record.0-520-27836-4 Includes bibliographical references and index.Front matter --CONTENTS --FOREWORD --Prologue: A Tense Meeting in the Mountains --1. Frequently compared to John Muir, David Brower was the first executive director of the Sierra Club, founded Friends of the Earth, and helped secure passage of the Wilderness Act, among other key achievements. Tapping his passion for wilderness and for the mountains he scaled in his youth, he was a central figure in the creation of the Point Reyes National Seashore and of the North Cascades and Redwood national parks. In addition, Brower worked tirelessly in successful efforts to keep dams from being built in Dinosaur National Monument and the Grand Canyon. Tom Turner began working with David Brower in 1968 and remained close to him until Brower's death. As an insider, Turner creates an intimate portrait of Brower the man and the decisive role he played in the development of the environmental movement. Culling material from Brower's diaries, notebooks, articles, books, and published interviews, and conducting his own interviews with many of Brower's admirers, opponents, and colleagues, Turner brings to life one of the movement's most controversial and complex figures.EnvironmentalistsUnited StatesBiographyConservationistsUnited StatesBiographybiography.conservation in the american west.conservationists.david brower.dinosaur national monument.environmental activism.environmental activists.environmental conservation protection.environmental legislation.environmental movement.environmental scientists.friends of the earth.national parks.north cascades national park.point reyes national seashore.redwood national park.sierra club.wilderness act.EnvironmentalistsConservationists508.092Turner Tom1942-1553732McKibben BillMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910797358403321David Brower3814486UNINA
