Faizzada argues that the Kantian position is neither a kind of compatibilism nor incompatibilism. The theory of freedom includes the specific concept of intellectual causality as the power to act by principles and for practical reasons. The most innovative feature constitutes the self-determination of rational agents regarding the idea of the noumenal world. Kant’s philosophical approach to freedom culminates in the concept of so-called transcendental-practical freedom which prepares the ground for morality.Critical studies in German idealism ;Volume 19.Free will and determinismLibertyFree will and determinism.Liberty.123/.5Faizzada Walid1549693MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910796044803321Autonome Praxis und intelligible Welt3807939UNINA04886nam 22005895 450 991030061910332120200629170024.03-319-90374-810.1007/978-3-319-90374-3(CKB)4100000004834227(DE-He213)978-3-319-90374-3(MiAaPQ)EBC5422307(EXLCZ)99410000000483422720180608d2018 u| 0engurnn|008mamaatxtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierClinical Ethics on Film A Guide for Medical Educators /by M. The book comprises general clinical ethics themes and principles and is written in accessible language. Each theme is discussed and illuminated in chapters devoted to a particular film. Chapters start with a discussion of the film itself, which shares details behind the making of the film; box-office and critical reception; casting; and other facts about production. The chapter then situates the film in a history of medicine and medical sociology context before it delves into the clinical ethics issues in the film, and how to use it as a teaching aid for clinical ethics. Readers will understand how each film in this collection served to bring particular clinical ethics issues to the public’s attention or reflected medico-legal issues that were part of the public discourse. The book is a perfect instructor's guide for anyone teaching bioethics, healthcare ethics, medical sociology, medical history, healthcare systems, narrative medicine, or nursing ethics.BioethicsMedical ethicsCommunicationSocial medicineMedical laws and legislationBioethicshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/E14010Theory of Medicine/Bioethicshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H66000Media and Communicationhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/412010Medical Sociologyhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/X22150Medical Lawhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/R16005Bioethics.Medical ethics.Communication.Social medicine.Medical laws and legislation.Bioethics.Theory of Medicine/Bioethics.Media and Communication.Medical Sociology.Medical Law.171.7Rosenthal M.
