Contemporary Spanish Gothic is the first book to study how the Gothic mode intersects with cultural production in Spain today, considering some of the ways in which such production feeds off and simultaneously feeds into Gothic production more widely. Examining the works of writers and filmmakers like Carlos Ruiz Zafón, Arturo Pérez-Reverte, Pedro Almodóvar and Alejandro Amenábar, as well as the further reaches of Spanish Gothic influence in the Twilight film series, the book considers images and themes like the mad surgeon and the vulnerable body, the role of the haunted house, and the heritage biopics of Francisco de Goya.</p>Edinburgh scholarship online.Motion picturesSpainHistory21st centuryGothic fiction (Literary genre), SpanishSpainfastHistory.fastMotion picturesHistoryGothic fiction (Literary genre), Spanish.791.430946Davies Ann1961-1127918UkCbUPUkCbUPBOOK9910792835303321Contemporary Spanish gothic3863756UNINA01891nam0 22004093i 450 PUV094436420251003044316.0881317611220241112d1997 ||||0itac50 baitaitz01i xxxe z01nz01ncRDAcarrierLineamenti di diritto europeo dei diritti dell'uomoMichele de SalviaTriesteProxima Scientific Press1997476 p.24 cmInstitut international d'études des droits de l'hommeIstituto internazionale di studi sui diritti dell'uomo = International institute for human rights studies19In cop.: CEDAMIn app.: Documentazione.001CFI00936962001 Institut international d'études des droits de l'hommeIstituto internazionale di studi sui diritti dell'uomo = International institute for human rights studies1971202Istituto internazionale di studi sui diritti dell'uomoCFIV006234Diritti umaniFIRCFIC169700E341.2422UNIONE EUROPEA23Diritti dell'uomoDiritti dell'umanitàDiritti fondamentaliDiritti umaniDiritti dell'uomoDiritti umaniDiritti dell'umanitàDiritti umaniDiritti fondamentaliDe Salvia, MicheleMILV077102070231830Salvia, Michele : deMILV203962De Salvia, MicheleITIT-00000020241112IT-BN0095 NAP 01D $PUV0944364Biblioteca Centralizzata di Ateneo1 v. 01D (AR) 27 090 01AR 0700270905 VMA A4 1 v.Y 2024111220241112 01Lineamenti di diritto europeo dei diritti dell'uomo576827UNISANNIO
