Transatlantic Passages presents essays, interviews, and images that address the often-neglected cultural commerce integral to understanding historical and contemporary identities in Quebec and francophone Europe.(DE-601)106256688(DE-588)4033552-5KulturbeziehungengndQuébec (Province)RelationsEurope, French-speakingEurope, French-speakingRelationsQuébec (Province)Québec (Province)CivilizationEuropean influencesQuébec (Province)Intellectual lifeKulturbeziehungen303.48/271404Gilbert Paula, authttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut1488520Santoro Miléna1965-Gilbert Paula RuthMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910790459103321Transatlantic passages3708773UNINA04898oam 22011894 450 991015501430332120250426110846.09781475554434147555443597814755544721475554478(CKB)3710000000973022(MiAaPQ)EBC4867565(Au-PeEL)EBL4867565(CaPaEBR)ebr11391089(CaONFJC)MIL974471(OCoLC)962339788(IMF)WPIEA2016212WPIEA2016212(EXLCZ)99371000000097302220020129d2016 uf 0engurcnu||||||||rdacontentrdamediardacarrierSpillovers from the Maturing of China’s Economy /Allan Dizioli, Benjamin Hunt, Wojciech MaliszewskiWashington, D.C. :International Monetary Fund,2016.1 online resource (32 pages) illustrationsIMF Working Papers9781475552225 147555222X Includes bibliographical references.China’s transition to a new growth model continues and the impact has been felt across the globe. Several trends contribute to the ‘maturing’ of China’s economy: i) structural slowing on the convergence path; ii) on-shoring deepening; and iii) demand rebalancing from investment towards consumption. In the short term, financial stress may lead to a cyclical slowdown. This paper discusses and quantifies spillovers to the global economy from these different developments. The analysis is undertaken using the APDMOD and G20MOD, both modules of the IMF’s Flexible System of Global Models. For plausible values of these developments, the overall impact on the global economy is not large. However, the impact on China’s closest trading partners and commodity exporters can be notable.IMF Working Papers; Working Paper ;No. 2016/212Business cyclesChinaExports and ImportsimfMacroeconomicsimfPublic FinanceimfMoney and Interest Rates: Forecasting and SimulationimfOpen Economy MacroeconomicsimfInternational Business CyclesimfGlobalization: Macroeconomic ImpactsimfOne, Two, and Multisector Growth ModelsimfNational Government Expenditures and Related Policies: InfrastructuresimfOther Public Investment and Capital StockimfCommodity MarketsimfTrade: GeneralimfExternalitiesimfPublic finance & taxationimfInternational economicsimfPublic investment spendingimfCommodity pricesimfPublic investment and public-private partnerships (PPP)imfExportsimfSpilloversimfExpenditureimfPricesimfInternational tradeimfFinancial sector policy and analysisimfPublic investmentsimfPublic-private sector cooperationimfInternational financeimfChinaEconomic conditionsChina, People's Republic ofimfBusiness cyclesExports and ImportsMacroeconomicsPublic FinanceMoney and Interest Rates: Forecasting and SimulationOpen Economy MacroeconomicsInternational Business CyclesGlobalization: Macroeconomic ImpactsOne, Two, and Multisector Growth ModelsNational Government Expenditures and Related Policies: InfrastructuresOther Public Investment and Capital StockCommodity MarketsTrade: GeneralExternalitiesPublic finance & taxationInternational economicsPublic investment spendingCommodity pricesPublic investment and public-private partnerships (PPP)ExportsSpilloversExpenditurePricesInternational tradeFinancial sector policy and analysisPublic investmentsPublic-private sector cooperationInternational finance330.951Dizioli Allan1378957Hunt Benjamin895004Maliszewski Wojciech1109477DcWaIMFBOOK9910155014303321Spillovers from the Maturing of China’s Economy3653007UNINA
