Prudential Regulations and RequirementsThis paper discusses key findings of the Detailed Assessment of Observance of the Basel Core Principles for Effective Banking Supervision (BCPs) on Denmark. Denmark has a high level of compliance with the BCPs. The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has appropriate legal authority to carry out supervision effectively, and its risk-based approach has focused well on the key elements of risk within its banking system. The compliance with the credit-risk related principles is uniformly high and the provisioning policies have been adequately enhanced. Its overall supervision is also considered sound, although resource constraints result in an extended supervision cycle and some risk areas receiving insufficient attention.IMF Staff Country Reports; Country Report ;No. 2014/352Banks and bankingState supervisionDenmarkFinanceDenmarkBanks and BankingimfFinance: GeneralimfMoney and Monetary PolicyimfBanksimfDepository InstitutionsimfMicro Finance InstitutionsimfMortgagesimfFinancing PolicyimfFinancial Risk and Risk ManagementimfCapital and Ownership StructureimfValue of FirmsimfGoodwillimfFinancial Institutions and Services: Government Policy and RegulationimfMonetary Policy, Central Banking, and the Supply of Money and Credit: GeneralimfBankingimfFinancial services law & regulationimfFinanceimfMonetary economicsimfMarket riskimfOperational riskimfCredit riskimfStress testingimfFinancial regulation and supervisionimfCreditimfMoneyimfFinancial sector policy and analysisimfBanks and bankingimfFinancial risk managementimfDenmarkEconomic policyDenmarkimfBanks and bankingState supervisionFinanceBanks and BankingFinance: GeneralMoney and Monetary PolicyBanksDepository InstitutionsMicro Finance InstitutionsMortgagesFinancing PolicyFinancial Risk and Risk ManagementCapital and Ownership StructureValue of FirmsGoodwillFinancial Institutions and Services: Government Policy and RegulationMonetary Policy, Central Banking, and the Supply of Money and Credit: GeneralBankingFinancial services law & regulationFinanceMonetary economicsMarket riskOperational riskCredit riskStress testingFinancial regulation and supervisionCreditMoneyFinancial sector policy and analysisBanks and bankingFinancial risk management332.1DcWaIMFBOOK9910788164003321Denmark1181077UNINA02555nam2 22005293i 450 VAN025555820230524121020.91N978364265217220230303d1972 |0itac50 baengDE|||| |||||Volume 2. / J.
