Only a handful lived to tell their story. Little has been written about the Peoples Temple in the context of black religion in America. Twenty-five years after the tragedy of Jonestown, scholars from various disciplines assess the impact of the Peoples Temple on the black religious experience.African AmericansReligionAfrican American churchesHistoryAfrican AmericansReligion.African American churchesHistory.289.9Moore Rebecca1951-1390027Pinn Anthony B872740Sawyer Mary R1482021MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910783354403321Peoples Temple and Black religion in America3699355UNINA
