The book Microalgae Biotechnology - Integration and Economy treats integrated approaches to bring the high potential of microalgae into application, accelerate the development of really working production processes and put finally the products on the market. Close interaction of biology and process engineering becomes visible in the described processes. The big impact of microalgal biotechnology on our future society is outlined as a desirable consequence of scientific progress. This book will allow protagonists in academia and industry as well as decision makers in industry and politics to get a clear picture of current possibilities and future trends in microalgal biotechnology.MicroalgaeBiotechnologyMicroalgaeBiotechnologyEconomic aspectsAlgae.Bioenergy.Biotechnology.Microalgae.MicroalgaeBiotechnology.MicroalgaeBiotechnologyEconomic aspects.579.8ZG 9100rvkPosten Clemens1105054Walter Christian1965 December 15-1468967MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910779731703321Microalgal biotechnology3680361UNINA02918nam 2200613 a 450 991078156060332120230725053953.01-60882-234-61-57224-734-7(CKB)2550000000066170(EBL)801385(OCoLC)781614544(SSID)ssj0000550876(PQKBManifestationID)11354353(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000550876(PQKBWorkID)10524182(PQKB)10882398(MiAaPQ)EBC801385(Au-PeEL)EBL801385(CaPaEBR)ebr10514860(EXLCZ)99255000000006617020101026d2010 uy 0engur|n|---|||||txtccrAcceptance and commitment therapy for eating disorders[electronic resource] a process-focused guide to treating anorexia and bulimia /Emily K. "It is expedient that one man should die for the people" : sympathy and substitution on the scaffold -- 2. "Fortune takes the place of guilt" : narrative reversals and the literary afterlives of Eugene Aram -- 3. "Standing for" the people : Charles Dickens, Elizabeth Gaskell and professional oratory in 1848 -- 4. Sacrifice and the sufferings of the substitute : Dickens and the atonement controversy of the 1850s -- 5. Substitution and imposture : George Eliot, Anthony Trollope and fictions of usurpation -- Conclusion: Innocence, sacrifice, and wrongful accusation in Victorian fiction.Jan-Melissa Schramm explores the conflicted attitude of the Victorian novel to sacrifice, and the act of substitution on which it depends. The Christian idea of redemption celebrated the suffering of the innocent: to embrace a life of metaphorical self-sacrifice was to follow in the footsteps of Christ's literal Passion. Moreover, the ethical agenda of fiction relied on the expansion of sympathy which imaginative substitution was seen to encourage. But Victorian criminal law sought to calibrate punishment and culpability as it repudiated archaic models of sacrifice that scapegoated the innocent. The tension between these models is registered creatively in the fiction of novelists such as Dickens, Gaskell and Eliot, at a time when acts of Chartist protest, national sacrifices made during the Crimean War, and the extension of the franchise combined to call into question what it means for one man to 'stand for', and perhaps even 'die for', another.Cambridge studies in nineteenth-century literature and culture ;80.Atonement & Self-Sacrifice in Nineteenth-Century NarrativeEnglish fiction19th centuryHistory and criticismSelf in literatureAtonement in literatureSelf-sacrifice in literatureEnglish fictionHistory and criticism.Self in literature.Atonement in literature.Self-sacrifice in literature.823/.809355LIT004120bisacshSchramm Jan-Melissa1677791UkCbUPUkCbUPBOOK9910807124403321Atonement and self-sacrifice in nineteenth-century narrative4044962UNINA
