The Dhāraṇīsaṃgraha collections have been present in South Asia, and especially in Nepal, for more than eight hundred years and served to supply protection, merit and auspiciousness for those who commissioned their compilation. For modern scholarship, these diverse compendiums are valuable sources of incantations and related texts, many of which survive in Sanskrit only in such manuscripts.Beyond Boundaries RELIGION / Buddhism / HistorybisacshBuddhism.Nepal.dharani.magic.RELIGION / Buddhism / History.294.385Hidas Gergely1970-authttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut967935European Research Council,fndhttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/fndDE-B1597DE-B1597BOOK9910774800803321Powers of Protection2814662UNINA
