Anyone seeking the premise of animal ethics in the 17th century will undoubtedly be disappointed. “Brute beasts”, as they were then called, were excluded from the sphere of obligations, and not just by a few cartesian mechanics. A large number of authors maintained that animals feel or that they have a soul which is not that different from ours. Many were outraged at human cruelty towards them. Some claimed that they are endowed with reason, sometimes using them as a point of comparison in order to belittle human pride. They were even given rights. The diversity of positions, representations and arguments rarely…Philosophyéthique animaleâge classiqueanimal ethicsseventeenth centuryanimal ethicsseventeenth centuryPhilosophyéthique animaleâge classiqueanimal ethicsseventeenth centuryBedon Marine1322013Lantoine Jacques-Louis1296061Andrault Raphaële1322014Baratay Éric1285824Bedon Marine1322013Dubar Margaux1322015Gengoux Nicole1322016Gonzalez Solange1322017Lantoine Jacques-Louis1296061Moreau Pierre-François385885Moussavou Jollene1322018Pellegrin Marie-Frédérique475055Phemister Pauline615422Rousseau Christine1322019Suhamy Ariel1322020Toto Francesco800438FR-FrMaCLEBOOK9910522584103321L’homme et la brute au XVIIe siècle3034671UNINA02487nam 2200373 450 991067438690332120230702164033.0(CKB)5700000000300394(NjHacI)995700000000300394(EXLCZ)99570000000030039420230702d2022 uy 0engur|||||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierClear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma 2021-2022 /Claudia Manini and José I. LópezBasel, Switzerland :MDPI - Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute,2022.1 online resource (342 pages)3-0365-5517-X Clear cell renal cell carcinoma is currently one of the most interesting areas of study in oncology. Despite the advances made in this field, this tumor continues to be a health problem of major concern in Western societies, seriously affecting public health services. Several characteristics of this tumor make it an exciting meeting point for translational collaboration between clinicians and basic researchers. Clear cell renal cell carcinoma is a paradigmatic example of inter- and intra-tumor heterogeneity from morphological, immunohistochemical, and molecular viewpoints. This tumor is also a good example to investigate the complexity of tumor/tumor and tumor/environment relationships from an ecological perspective. A deeper identification of the varied internal tumor self-organization through the specialization of cell clones and subclones as local invaders and metastasizers, on one hand, and the interactions of specific subsets of tumor cells with the local host microenvironment, on the other, will significantly enrich our knowledge of this neoplasm. Clear cell renal cell carcinoma is also a paradigmatic test bench for antiangiogenic and immune checkpoint blockage therapies. The refinement of these therapeutic tools administered alone or in combination is a hot issue in oncology, and several international trials are underway.Biomedical materialsCarcinoma, Renal CellBiomedical materials.Carcinoma, Renal Cell.616.99461Manini Claudia1369297López José I.NjHacINjHaclBOOK9910674386903321Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma 2021-20223395431UNINA01855oam 2200529M 450 991071577610332120191123062014.9(CKB)5470000002514311(OCoLC)1065758942(OCoLC)995470000002514311(EXLCZ)99547000000251431120070221d1851 ua 0engurcn|||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierJ.
