It relies on innovative real space computational methods of the time-dependent spreading of electronic wave packets. First a universal scaling law of the elastic mean free path versus the average grain size is predicted for polycrystalline morphologies, and charge mobilities of up to 300.000 cm2/V.s are determined for 1 micron grain size, while amorphous graphene membranes are shown to behave as Anderson insulators. An unprecedented spin relaxation mechanism, unique to graphene and driven by spin/pseudospin entanglement is then reported in the presence of weak spin-orbit interaction (gold ad-atom impurities) together with the prediction of a crossover from a quantum spin Hall Effect to spin Hall effect (for thallium ad-atoms), depending on the degree of surface ad-atom segregation and the resulting island diameter.Springer Theses, Recognizing Outstanding Ph.D. Research,2190-5053NanoscienceNanoscienceNanostructuresOptical materialsElectronicsMaterialsMaterials—SurfacesThin filmsNanoscale Science and Technologyhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P25140Optical and Electronic Materialshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/Z12000Surfaces and Interfaces, Thin Filmshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/Z19000Nanoscience.Nanoscience.Nanostructures.Optical materials.ElectronicsMaterials.Materials—Surfaces.Thin films.Nanoscale Science and Technology.Optical and Electronic Materials.Surfaces and Interfaces, Thin Films.546.681Van Tuan Dinhauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut1062189MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910254610003321Charge and Spin Transport in Disordered Graphene-Based Materials2523322UNINA01639nam 22004573 450 991090837070332120251116213510.09783658452827365845282X(MiAaPQ)EBC31783872(Au-PeEL)EBL31783872(CKB)36583469700041(OCoLC)1472990043(EXLCZ)993658346970004120241118d2024 uy 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierApplications of GPT in Finance, Compliance, and Audit Benefits, Challenges, Practical Examples1st ed.Wiesbaden :Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden GmbH,2024.©2024.1 online resource (142 pages)Business and Management Series9783658452810 3658452811 This book, authored by three experts with the assistance of GPT, provides comprehensive insights into the applications of generative AI, such as GPT, in the financial sector of businesses. It offers background information, benefits, as well as the challenges and risks associated with implementation.Business and Management Series332.028563Hüsch Alexander1675746Distelrath Dirk1775339Hüsch Tanja1775340MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910908370703321Applications of GPT in Finance, Compliance, and Audit4289937UNINA
