Arms control issues feature prominently in that conflicted agenda. Since the outbreak of the Russo-Georgian war in August 2008, both [Russia and the U.S.] have further hardened positions and raised tensions apart from the war itself and Russia's quite evident refusal to abide by its own cease-fire terms. Nevertheless, and for better or worse, arms control and its agenda will remain at the heart of the bilateral Russo-American relationship for a long time. Arms control and disarmament issues are quintessentially political as well as military issues that are among the most critical components of the bilateral relationship and regional security in both Europe and Asia. For these reasons, neither the political nor the military aspect can be divorced from the other. And for these same reasons, we cannot refuse to participate in the bilateral effort to resolve those issues.Arms controlGovernment policyRussia (Federation)Arms controlGovernment policyUnited StatesBallistic missilesUnited StatesBallistic missilesRussia (Federation)Security, InternationalMilitary & Naval ScienceHILCCLaw, Politics & GovernmentHILCCMilitary Science - GeneralHILCCUnited StatesMilitary relationsRussia (Federation)Russia (Federation)Military relationsUnited StatesArms controlGovernment policyArms controlGovernment policyBallistic missilesBallistic missilesSecurity, InternationalMilitary & Naval ScienceLaw, Politics & GovernmentMilitary Science - General327.1/7470947Blank Stephen1950-1351763Army War College (U.S.) Strategic Studies Institute,PQKBBOOK9910693459403321Russia and arms control : are there opportunities for the Obama Administration3528304UNINA01955oam 22005654a 450 991069762420332120081020170724.0(CKB)5470000002390723(OCoLC)61745496(EXLCZ)99547000000239072320050915d2003 ua 0engurcn|||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierDeception in Weight-Loss Advertising Workshop[electronic resource] seizing opportunities and building partnerships to stop weight-loss fraud : a Federal Trade Commission staff report[Washington, D.C.] :Federal Trade Commission,[2003]iii, 56, 9 pages digital, PDF fileTitle from title screen (viewed on Sept. 21, 2005)."December 2003."Includes bibliographical references.Deception in Weight-Loss Advertising Workshop Weight loss preparationsMarketingCorrupt practicesUnited StatesCongressesDeceptive advertisingUnited StatesCongressesObesitytherapyWeight LossAdvertisingstandardsConsumer AdvocacyDeceptionFraudUnited StatesCongress.Conference papers and proceedings.lcgftWeight loss preparationsMarketingCorrupt practicesDeceptive advertisingObesitytherapy.Weight Loss.Advertisingstandards.Consumer Advocacy.Deception.Fraud.United States.Federal Trade Commission.NLMNLMGPOBOOK9910697624203321Deception in Weight-Loss Advertising Workshop3550307UNINA
