In view of this, the continuous thinking and rethinking of this modality of subjectivity and / or contemporary "malaise" becomes relevant. The interest in the proposed theme was born from the daily clinical practice in Public Health, held at a Health Center (CS-III) in a city in the interior of São Paulo. Our problem was based on the intention of understanding the exacerbated medicalization of depression today, specifically the subjective impacts caused by such interventions.
