Among the most important soft skills are ability to communicate, courtesy, creativity, empaty, flexibility, integrity, positivity, problem solving, professionalism, resourcefulness, responsibility, a strong work ethic, and ability to work within a team. While hard skills are related to the left side of the brain and are linked to the intelligence quotient (IQ), soft skills are related to the right side of the brain and are linked to the emotional quotient (EQ). A person who fuses hard and soft skills successfully will be able to upgrade their professional behavior and become a difference maker (DM). Soft skills are of central importance in the context of Engineering 4.0, the new phase of engineering, and in Engineering 4.0 education, and this is the central focus of the book. The presented examples of the role of soft skills will also enable readers to self-evaluate, to identify those skills that require improvement, and ultimately to enhance their performance.EngineeringVocational guidanceEngineeringVocational guidance.620.0023Rovida Edoardo53801Zafferri GiulioMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910522988303321The Importance of Soft Skills in Engineering and Engineering Education2590662UNINA02645nam 22005053a 450 991027348660332120250203232518.010.6093 / 978-88-6887-026-3(CKB)4100000004385212(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/51758(ScCtBLL)a54d5413-18e3-44d3-9f33-141163de0869(OCoLC)1055371870(Perlego)2344534(oapen)doab51758(EXLCZ)99410000000438521220250203i20182019 uu itaurmn|---annantxtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierLinguaggi E Ideologie Del Rinascimento Monarchico Aragonese (1442-1503) : Forme Della Legittimazione E Sistemi Di Governo /Antonietta Iacono, Fulvio Delle DonneFedOA - Federico II University Press2018[s.l.] The author maps out various specific locations of the city through the intertwined disciplines of street photography, autoethnography and psychogeography. By meandering through the urban landscape and taking street photographs, this form of practice is open to the various metaphors, atmospheres and visual discourses offered up by the street scenes. The result is a practice-led research project informed by both documentary and creative writing that seeks to articulate thinking via the process of art-making. As a research project on the affective mapping of places in the city, the book examines what Hong Kong is, as thought and felt by the person on the street. It explores the everyday experiences afforded by the city through the figure of the flâneur wandering in shopping districts and street markets. Through his own street photographs and drawing from the writings of Byung-Chul Han, Walter Benjamin and Michel de Certeau, the author explores feelings, affects, and states of mind as he explores the city and its social life. Born in Singapore and a long-term resident in Hong Kong, Eddie Tay is a poet and a street photographer. He is Associate Professor in the Department of English, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. .Palgrave Studies in Creativity and Culture,2755-4511PsychologyAestheticsEnvironmental psychologyPhotographySocial psychologySociology, UrbanPsychology of AestheticsEnvironmental PsychologyPhotographySocial PsychologyUrban SociologyCultural PsychologyPsychology.Aesthetics.Environmental psychology.Photography.Social psychology.Sociology, Urban.Psychology of Aesthetics.Environmental Psychology.Photography.Social Psychology.Urban Sociology.Cultural Psychology.701.03302.095125Tay Eddie1178782MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQ9910647393103321Hong Kong As Creative Practice3364206UNINA
