On Takitaki and its insights.Proposing a new methodological approach to documenting languages spoken in multilingual societies, this book retraces the investigation of one unique linguistic space, the Creole varieties referred to as Takitaki in multilingual French Guiana. It illustrates how interactional sociolinguistic, anthropological linguistic, discourse analytical and quantitative sociolinguistic approaches can be integrated with structural approaches to language in order to resolve rarely discussed questions systematically (what are the outlines of the community, who is a rightful speaker, what speech should be documented) that frequently crop up in projects of language documentation in multilingual contexts. The authors argue that comprehensively documenting complex linguistic phenomena requires taking into account the views of all local social actors (native and non-native speakers, institutions, linguists, non-speakers, etc.), applying a range of complementary data collection and analysis methods and putting issues of ideology, variation, language contact and interaction centre stage. This book will be welcomed by researchers in sociolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, fieldwork studies, language documentation and language variation and change.Sranan languageGrammar, HistoricalSranan languageFrench GuianaFrench GuianaLanguagesSranan languageGrammar, Historical.Sranan language427/.9882LAN009000bisacshMigge Bettina1800385Léglise IsabelleUkCbUPUkCbUPBOOK9910962146303321Exploring language in a multilingual context4423760UNINA03562nam 22005775 450 991062724440332120251008143609.03-031-14605-010.1007/978-3-031-14605-3(MiAaPQ)EBC7123179(Au-PeEL)EBL7123179(CKB)25201529400041(PPN)265859174(DE-He213)978-3-031-14605-3(OCoLC)1357018753(EXLCZ)992520152940004120221025d2023 u| 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierArtificial Intelligence and Economics: the Key to the Future /edited by Domenico Marino, Melchiorre Monaca1st ed. 2023.Cham :Springer International Publishing :Imprint: Springer,2023.1 online resource (267 pages)Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems,2367-3389 ;523Print version: Marino, Domenico Artificial Intelligence and Economics: the Key to the Future Cham : Springer International Publishing AG,c2022 9783031146046 Includes bibliographical references.A provincial indicator to describe potential Artificial Intelligence -- Transitions, Harmony and the Mediterranean: the Case of the Harmonic Innovation Hub -- Sustainability in manufacturing.
