The sector faces significant challenges in different domains of sustainability, including the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the management of health and safety impacts. In particular, the intention to decarbonise the sector's activities has led to a strong increase in research efforts--this is also the main focus of the Special Issue. Sustainable freight transport operations represent a significant challenge with multiple technical, operational, and political aspects. The design, testing, and implementation of interventions require multi-disciplinary, multi-country research. Promising interventions are not limited to introducing new transport technologies, but also include changes in framework conditions for transport, in terms of production and logistics processes. Due to the uncertainty of impacts, the number of stakeholders, and the difficulty of optimizing across actors, understanding the impacts of these measures is not a trivial problem. Therefore, research is not only needed on the design and evaluation of individual interventions, but also on the approach of their joint deployment through a concerted public/private programme. This Special Issue addresses both dimensions, in two distinct groups of papers--the programming of interventions and the individual sustainability measures themselves.Freight and freightageEnvironmental aspectsSustainable transportationFreight and freightageEnvironmental aspects. »Human geographybicsscidentitédiasporacréolisationMartiniqueMauriceLouisianeCap-VertHuman geographyCohen Robin148074Sheringham Olivia1363969FR-FrMaCLEBOOK9910495994603321À la rencontre de la différence3385049UNINA02064nas 2200661- 450 99619980560331620240104213018.02325-8306(OCoLC)821190259(CKB)2560000000096626(CONSER)--2012273835(EXLCZ)99256000000009662620121214a20139999 --- aengur|||||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierLGBT healthNew Rochelle, NY :Mary Ann Liebert, Inc.,[2013]-1 online resourceRefereed/Peer-reviewed2325-8292 GaysMedical carePeriodicalsBisexual peopleMedical carePeriodicalsTransgender peopleMedical carePeriodicalsGaysHealth and hygienePeriodicalsBisexual peopleHealth and hygienePeriodicalsTransgender peopleHealth and hygienePeriodicalsHealthHomosexualityBisexualityTranssexualismGaysHealth and hygienefast(OCoLC)fst00939275GaysMedical carefast(OCoLC)fst00939285Gender minoritieshomoitPeriodicalPeriodicals.fastPeriodicals.lcgftGaysMedical careBisexual peopleMedical careTransgender peopleMedical careGaysHealth and hygieneBisexual peopleHealth and hygieneTransgender peopleHealth and hygieneHealthHomosexualityBisexualityTranssexualismGaysHealth and hygiene.GaysMedical care.Gender minorities.362.108Mary Ann Liebert, Inc.,JOURNAL996199805603316LGBT health2448302UNISA
