PhotographsPolitical aspectsMelot-Henry Annette1240697Ferro Marc133776FR-FrMaCLEBOOK9910568194703321La photographie soviétique de 1917 à 19453026428UNINA03650nam 2200697 450 991079764530332120230807193332.03-11-042959-43-11-042970-510.1515/9783110429596(CKB)3710000000482416(EBL)4006848(SSID)ssj0001597672(PQKBManifestationID)16297807(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001597672(PQKBWorkID)14885356(PQKB)10867977(MiAaPQ)EBC4006848(DE-B1597)452889(OCoLC)979589813(DE-B1597)9783110429596(Au-PeEL)EBL4006848(CaPaEBR)ebr11128578(CaONFJC)MIL838220(OCoLC)935244115(EXLCZ)99371000000048241620151223h20152015 uy 0engurnnu---|u||utxtccrTelling what she thinks semantics and pragmatics of propositional attitude reports /Tomoo UedaBerlin, [Germany] ;Boston, [Massachusetts] :De Gruyter,2015.©20151 online resource (186 p.)Epistemische Studien,2198-1884 ;Band 33Description based upon print version of record.3-11-042960-8 3-11-043880-1 Includes bibliographical references and index.Front matter --Contents --List of Figures --List of Tables --Acknowledgments --List of abbreviations --1. Conclusion --List of sentences --Bibliography --Source of linguistic data --IndexFrege’s puzzle concerning belief reports has been in the middle of the discussion on semantics and pragmatics of attitude reports: The intuition behind the opacity does not seem to be consistent with the thesis of semantic innocence according to which the semantic value of proper names is nothing but their referent. Main tasks of this book include providing truth-conditional content of belief reports. Especially, the focus is on semantic values of proper names. The key aim is to extend Crimmins’s basic idea of semantic pretense and the introduction of pleonastic entities proposed by Schiffer. They enable us to capture Frege’s puzzle in the analysis without giving up semantic innocence. To reach this conclusion, two issues are established. First, based on linguistic evidence, the frame of belief reports functions adverbially rather than relationally. Second, the belief ascriptions, on which each belief report is made, must be analyzed in terms of the measurement-theoretic analogy.Deutsche Hochschulschriften.Epistemische Studien ;Band 33.Propositional attitudesPragmaticsBelief.Epistemic Modal Logic.Frege.Puzzle.Propositional attitudes.Pragmatics.160Ueda Tomoo1005147MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910797645303321Telling what she thinks2310328UNINA02061nam 22004453 450 991015778240332120251018060406.01-63476-264-9(CKB)3710000001009672(BIP)055285865(BIP)055397217(Exl-AI)993710000001009672(MiAaPQ)EBC32337190(Au-PeEL)EBL32337190(EXLCZ)99371000000100967220251018d2015 uy 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierHostage1st ed.Tallahassee :Dreamspinner Press,2015.©2015.1 online resource (340 p.) 1-63476-262-2 When Astrin Raphael finds himself held hostage in an unfamiliar place, he has no option but to try to have faith in someone who seems to despise him. Little does he know his captor is his nemesis, Rowan Gabriel, whose disdain for Astrin all started with a misunderstanding years ago. The kidnapping of Astrin's father and Rowan's uncle leaves the two princes with no choice but to form a precarious alliance. Rowan casts off his hatred and reaches out to Astrin, but Astrin's doubt and insecurity run too deep to let go of easily. It's not until Astrin almost loses his life that he's able to acknowledge what Rowan means to him and admit to the love forming between them. Their struggle doesn't end when they return home and their Houses attempt to broker a deal to determine their future together. Each prince might face a choice between keeping his title and finding happiness with the man he loves.Romance fictionGenerated by AIPrincesFictionGenerated by AIRomance fictionPrincesHeadford Cheryl1435602MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910157782403321Hostage3593327UNINA
