Opolskie province in Poland is a case for explaining this interdependence. That is because of its history of multiculturalism and the present state of its ethnic diversity. The important feature of this region is, that nearly half of the communes is ethnically homogenous when the rest is ethnically diversified with a strong position of German and Silesian minorities. The preliminary assumption was, that the quality of governance would be higher in communes characterized by ethnic diversity. On the basis of the nested analysis method, authors conducted quantitative and qualitative analysis.Studies in politics, security and society ;29.Cultural pluralismOpole (Poland : Powiat)Government policycasecivil societyCzepildiversityEthnicGerman minoritygovernancelocallocal democracyMulticulturalismOpiolaOpolePolandProvincequalityRegionalself-governmentSilesiaCultural pluralism.305.8Czepil Bartosz1981-913634Opioła Wojciech1982-MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910476912203321Ethnic diversity and local governance quality2046548UNINA04314nam 2201237z- 450 991055761320332120220321(CKB)5400000000045270(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/79656(oapen)doab79656(EXLCZ)99540000000004527020202203d2022 |y 0engurmn|---annantxtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierPolymer Materials in Biomedical ApplicationBaselMDPI - Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute20221 online resource (254 p.)3-0365-3336-2 3-0365-3335-4 Recently, the development of polymeric materials for biomedical applications has advanced significantly. Polymeric materials are favored in the development of therapeutic devices, including temporary implants and three-dimensional scaffolds for tissue engineering and in vitro disease modelling.Further advancements have also occurred in the utilization of polymeric materials for pharmacological applications, such as delivery vehicles for drug release. We would like to invite you to contribute to this Special Issue. Research topics of interest include, but are not limited to, recent advances related to 3D cell culture, biomaterials, tissue engineering, disease modelling, hydrogel, organoids, drug discovery, bioimaging, cardio-renal, metabolic disease, and stem cell biology.Manufacturing industriesbicsscMedicine and NursingbicsscAg/RGO nanocompositesaggregationanti-fungalantibacterialantibacterial abilityanticancer performanceantioxidant activityaromatic interactionsarticular cartilagebacteria viability (Bacillus clausii)biologycarbohydrate polymers blendschemistrychitosanchlorpheniramineco-microencapsulationcoaxial electrospinningcrosslinkingdegradablediafiltrationextracellular matrixfunctional foodgamma (γ)-irradiationgelatingreen preparationhydrogelhydrogelsinfectious diseasesitraconazolejojobakenafliquid waxmechanical propertiesmyelinationnanocrystalline cellulosenanofibersoligodendrocyteonychomycosisoptical characteristicsorthokeratology lensoxidative stresspathogenspharmaceutical/industrial usesplatelet lysatepoloxamer 407 gelpoloxamer 407 polymerpoly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate)polyelectrolytepolymerspotential mechanismprobioticsprotein depositionrubbingSAXSself-emulsifying nanovesiclessilver nanoparticlesSimmondsiaspongesspray dryingsterility assurancesterilizationTerbinafinetoxicitytransungualtransungual drug deliverytribological propertiesungual penetration enhancerwater-soluble materialswound carewound dressingswound healingManufacturing industriesMedicine and NursingRaza Faisaledt1302762Nugraha BramastaedtRaza FaisalothNugraha BramastaothBOOK9910557613203321Polymer Materials in Biomedical Application3026525UNINA
