The main focus is on mammogram and breast ultrasound along with basics of breast MRI and breast interventions. With the increasing popularity of these qualifying exams among radiology residents in Asia, Great Britain as well as Australia and dearth of relevant resources on the topic, this book will serve as a valuable resource for the candidates. The book is also aligned with preparations required for the FRCPC (Canada) and the American Board of Radiology. The book is divided into two sections - first section includes chapters on basics of breast imaging along with a chapter on emerging technologies while the second section includes 50 exam-relevant cases covering imaging findings utilizing appropriate BI-RADS lexicon, possible differentials, next recommended investigation and appropriate management in accordance with American College of Radiology lexicon, BI-RADS system and MRI correlation, whenever available. Readers also get familiar with the indications for breast MRI. The book is written by experts in breast imaging with relevant teaching experience. Written by an experts with strong teaching experience, this book is not only suitable for exams but is also useful for practicing breast and non-breast radiologists as well as breast care clinicians, keen to learn fundamentals of breast imaging.RadiologyImaging / Radiologyhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H29005MamathubMamografiathubEcografiathubDiagnòstic per la imatgethubLlibres electrònicsthubRadiology.Imaging / Radiology.MamaMamografiaEcografiaDiagnòstic per la imatge618.190754Chotai Niketaauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut859867Kulkarni Supriyaauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910392733303321Breast Imaging Essentials1918790UNINA03754nam 2200709z- 450 991055733200332120220111(CKB)5400000000042559(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/76980(oapen)doab76980(oapen)76980(EXLCZ)99540000000004255920202201d2021 |y 0engurmn|---annantxtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierModern Approaches in Cardiovascular Disease Therapeutics: From Molecular Genetics to Tissue EngineeringBasel, SwitzerlandMDPI - Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute20211 online resource (112 p.)3-0365-2436-3 3-0365-2437-1 Cardiovascular disease (CVD) currently represents one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Each year, more than 17.9 million people die due to CVD manifestations. To reverse these manifestations, the transplantation of secondary vessels or the use of synthetic vascular grafts represents the gold standard procedure. However, significant adverse reactions have been described in the literature regarding the use of these type of grafts. In this regard, modern therapeutic strategies focused on CVD therapeutics must be proposed and evaluated. As alternative therapies, advanced tissue engineering approaches, including decellularization procedures and the 3D additive bio-printing methods, are currently being investigated. In this Special Issue of Bioengineering, we aimed to highlight modern approaches regarding CVD. This Special Issue, entitled "Modern Approaches in Cardiovascular Disease Therapeutics: From Molecular Genetics to Tissue Engineering", includes 5 articles. These articles are related to the efficient production of small-diameter vascular grafts, vascular graft development with 3D printing approaches, and in vitro models for the improved assessment of atherosclerosis mechanisms. The Guest Editors of this Special Issue wish to express their gratitude to all contributors for their unique and outstanding articles. Additionally, special credit is given to all reviewers for their comprehensive analysis and overall effort in improving the quality of the published articles.Modern Approaches in Cardiovascular Disease TherapeuticsMedicinebicsscMedicine and Nursingbicssc3D and 4D printing3D bioprinting3D cell culture3D printingatherosclerosisbypass surgerycardiovascular diseasecell therapycollagendecellularizationdisease modelhuman umbilical arteriesimmunomechanobiologyKi67macrophagemacrophagesMAP kinasemesenchymal stromal cellsmonocyterepopulationsmall-diameter vascular graftssynthetic materialsthermoresponsive materialstissue engineeringvascular reconstructionMedicineMedicine and NursingMallis Panagiotisedt1326446Michalopoulos EfstathiosedtMallis PanagiotisothMichalopoulos EfstathiosothBOOK9910557332003321Modern Approaches in Cardiovascular Disease Therapeutics: From Molecular Genetics to Tissue Engineering3037441UNINA
