This book comprehensively reviews the aspects relating to body fluid balance, rehydration, and physical exercise. It provides background on body water balance and turnover, topics related to electrolyte balance, and sweating as the basis for thermoregulatory and fluid homeostasis during exercise. In addition, chapters cover body water balance evaluation and regulation; cardiovascular and metabolic responses to fluid imbalance; effects of dehydration on aerobic power, muscle strength, and cognitive function; fluid intake timing; and optimal beverage selection.Body fluidsHydrationDehydration (Physiology)Body fluids.Hydration.Dehydration (Physiology)612617.1027HEA017000MED060000MED068000bisacshMeyer Flavia1775027Meyer FlaviaSzygula ZbigniewWilk BoguslawMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910410649803321Fluid balance, hydration, and athletic performance4288815UNINA04385nam 22006735 450 991050845690332120251230060709.03-030-79264-19783030792640(electronic bk.)3030792641(electronic bk.)9783030792633(print)303079263310.1007/978-3-030-79264-0(MiAaPQ)EBC6799460(Au-PeEL)EBL6799460(CKB)19410944600041(OCoLC)1285067926(PPN)258841222(DE-He213)978-3-030-79264-0(EXLCZ)991941094460004120211105d2021 u| 0engurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierLegal Aspects of Crowdfunding /edited by Caroline Kleiner1st ed. 2021.Cham :Springer International Publishing :Imprint: Springer,2021.1 online resource (vi, 571 pages)Ius Comparatum - Global Studies in Comparative Law,2214-689X ;55Print version: Kleiner, Caroline Legal Aspects of Crowdfunding Cham : Springer International Publishing AG,c2021 9783030792633 Includes bibliographical references.Part I. In the wake of the financial crises of 2008, use of this alternative financing method has increased substantially, in various forms. Whereas some states have adopted tailor-made regimes in order to regulate but also encourage this way of financing projects, allowing loans to be made by non-banking institutions, others still haven’t specifically addressed the subject. An analysis of these diverse legislative stances offers readers a range of legal solutions for managing crowdfunding activities with regard to e.g. protecting investors, imposing limits on project owners, and finally the role and duties of intermediaries, i.e., companies operating crowdfunding platforms. In addition, the content presented here provides a legal basis for states and supranational organizations interested in regulating this phenomenon to achieve more legal certainty. .Ius Comparatum - Global Studies in Comparative Law,2214-689X ;55Conflict of lawsConflict of lawsInternational lawComparative lawFinancial services industryPrivate International Law, International and Foreign Law, Comparative LawFinancial ServicesConflict of laws.Conflict of laws.International law.Comparative law.Financial services industry.
