Collection de l'École française de Rome2-7283-1493-4 This book presents the proceedings of the international conference “The Middle Ages in the Modern World,” held in Rome November 21-24, 2018. Attended by more than a hundred participants of different ages, educational backgrounds, and places of origin, the conference constituted a landmark in the study of medievalism: the historical discipline, now in full bloom, that investigates the ways in which the thousand-year period between 500 and 1500 was, and continues to be, presented, reconstructed, and imagined in successive eras. The book opens with a substantial bibliography drawn from all of its components, followed by the seven keynote lectures and ninety-three shorter texts - abstracts of the individual conference papers - organized along eight thematic pathways, which together provide a vivid image of the current state of the field.Middle Ages without bordersHistorymedievalismhistoriographymedieval civilisationMédiévismeCivilisation médiévaleHistoriographiemedievalismhistoriographymedieval civilisationHistorymedievalismhistoriographymedieval civilisationMédiévismeCivilisation médiévaleHistoriographieAali Heta979489Aiello Cristian1332625Aitcheson James1332626Ayed Tasnime1332627Barbagallo Matteo1332628Barbero Alessandro160445Barratt-Peacock Ruth1251442Battistini Alessandro1332629Berger Matthias D1332630Bertholet Marion1332631Breton Justine1317973Broche Laurent1295620Brookman Helen1332632Brown Elizabeth A.R212439Carannante Arianna1332633Carlucci Lorenzo1332634Cavazzini Laura727290Conti Aidan1332635Corona Martina1332636Cossar Roisin1111422Coulomb Clarisse1275993Cusimano Fabio1332637Czarnowus Anna1332638Devaux Michaël1297409Dijk Mathilde van1332639di Carpegna Falconieri Tommaso1317867Di Fabio Clario1332640Dubois Danielle1332641D’Arcens Louise1332642Elliott Andrew B.R1332643Facchini Riccardo1332644Fishburne James1332645Fraulini Fabiana1332646Fraysse Patrick1158940Gally Michèle1232684Gammeltolft Peder1332647Gargova Fani1332648Gerraert Dustin1332649Giardina Antonella1332650Gorgievski Sandra1332651Grévin Benoît472421Griffiths Toni373232Grosen Jørgensen Lea1332652Grossman Heather E1113857Heelan Carla1332653Hildebrand Kristina453804Iacono Davide1332654Innocenti Alessio1332655Irwin Dean A1332656Jakobsen Johnny Grandjean Gøgsig1332657Jeffries Neil1332658Jovanović Jelena691625Kamčevski Danko1332659Kolassa Alexander1332660Leardi Geraldine1332661Ledru Thomas1332662Lees Clare A898041Li Jianing (Ivy)1332663Linford Sarah1332664Locke Perchuk Alison1332665Longo Umberto447483Machado Ana1332666Marino Laura515959Martins Pedro1332667Mazza Edmund J1332668Merete Kjærulff Berit1332669Merli Sonia760899Molinier Muriel1286161Møller Lis1332670Monagle Clare1129346Morris Sharon1332671Muresu Marco1332672Noga-Banai Galit1171226Nolan Linda1332673Nuzzo Mariella1332674Panzanelli Giulia1332675Parker Jayne1332676Pascolini-Campbell Claire1332677Polidoro Luca1332678Ragnard Isabelle1299989Rahman Sabina1332679Richards Stephanie1332680Rideal Liz1332681Roversi Monaco Francesca1332682Rowland Ingrid D1332683Saguar Amaranta1332684Savy Pierre617979Settis Salvatore10347Shumate Michal Lynn1332685Stella Federico113214Tagliente Antonio1332686Théodore Simon1332687Tolkien-Gillett Charles John1332688Tomedi Andrea1332689Toswell Margaret Jane1332690Trafford Simon1332691Traxel Oliver M1332692Usai Nicoletta760116Varennes Bruno1332693Victorin Patricia291224Viglianisi Federica1332694Vishnuvajjala Usha1332695Vitolo Paola314910Volley Jo1332696Watterson Tess1332697Wild Esther Robinson1332698Woolf Jeffrey R1145953Woosnam-Savage Robert C1332699Yawn Lila1332700Zedda Corrado625522Zerbi Tommaso110948Zupka Dušan1169247di Carpegna Falconieri Tommaso281373Savy Pierre617979Yawn Lila1332700FR-FrMaCLEBOOK9910515998503321Middle Ages without borders: a conversation on medievalism3041004UNINA06458nam 22007815 450 991048394580332120251226195729.03-540-77962-010.1007/978-3-540-77962-9(CKB)1000000000490519(SSID)ssj0000317280(PQKBManifestationID)11251792(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000317280(PQKBWorkID)10289096(PQKB)10534961(DE-He213)978-3-540-77962-9(MiAaPQ)EBC4976226(MiAaPQ)EBC6458894(Au-PeEL)EBL4976226(CaONFJC)MIL134298(OCoLC)1024284826(PPN)123743583(MiAaPQ)EBC5594807(EXLCZ)99100000000049051920100301d2008 u| 0engurnn|008mamaatxtccrDNA Computing 13th International Meeting on DNA Computing, DNA13, Memphis, TN, USA, June 4-8, 2007, Revised Selected Papers /edited by Max H. This international meeting has been the premier forum where scientists with different backgrounds and a common focus meet to present their latest results and entertain visions of the future. In this tradition, about 100 participants converged in Memphis, Tennessee to hold the 13th International Meeting on DNA Computing during June 4–8, 2007, under the auspices of the International Society for Nanoscale Science, Computation and Engineering (ISNSCE) and The University of Memphis. The call for papers encouraged submissions of original, recent, and promising experimental and theoretical results in the field. The Call for Papers elicited some 62 submissions, almost perfectly balanced among the major theoretical and experimental categories. It is evidence of how well the interdisciplinary nature of the conference has truly matured that the major criterion of quality, agreed upon in advance by the Program Committee (PC), produced a nearly balanced program as well across the two major categories, full papers and talks with an abstract only. The program with the greatest perceived impact consisted of 24 papers for plenary oral talks; in addition, 15 full-paper posters and 10 poster abstracts were accepted, of which 5 authors were invited to give five short demos in a new submission category this year. The conference program retained the structure now customary for this meeting.Theoretical Computer Science and General Issues,2512-2029 ;4848Computer scienceAlgorithmsBioinformaticsArtificial intelligenceTheory of ComputationAlgorithmsComputational and Systems BiologyArtificial IntelligenceComputer science.Algorithms.Bioinformatics.Artificial intelligence.Theory of Computation.Algorithms.Computational and Systems Biology.Artificial Intelligence.621.391Yan HaoPh.
