Forward Look at Research Perspectives -- References. This work aims to foster the interdisciplinary dialogue between mathematicians and socio-economic scientists. Interaction among scholars and practitioners traditionally coming from different research areas is necessary more than ever in order to better understand many real-world problems we face today.   On the one hand, mathematicians need economists and social scientists to better address the methodologies they design in a more realistic way; on the other hand, economists and social scientists need to be aware of sound mathematical modelling tools in order to understand and, ultimately, solve the complex problems they encounter in their research.   With this goal in mind, this work is designed to take into account a multidisciplinary approach that will encourage the transfer of knowledge, ideas, and methodology from one discipline to the other. In particular, the work has three main themes:   Demystifying and unravelling complex systems; Introducing models of individual behaviours in the social and economic sciences; Modelling socio-economic sciences as complex living systems.   Specific tools examined in the work include a recently developed modelling approach using stochastic game theory within the framework of statistical mechanics and progressing up to modeling Darwinian evolution. Special attention is also devoted to social network theory as a fundamental instrument for the understanding of socio-economic systems.SpringerBriefs in mathematics.Social sciencesMathematical modelsEconomicsMathematical modelsSocial sciencesMathematical models.EconomicsMathematical models.300.151Bellomo N31305Ajmone Marsan Giulia751381Tosin Andrea721608MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910739411103321Complex systems and society4191276UNINA03512nam 22007215 450 991047345010332120251017110138.03-030-63277-610.1007/978-3-030-63277-9(CKB)4100000011797531(DE-He213)978-3-030-63277-9(MiAaPQ)EBC6515583(Au-PeEL)EBL6515583(OCoLC)1249471205(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/64050(PPN)254725457(ODN)ODN0010066343(oapen)doab64050(DNLM)9918366387506676(EXLCZ)99410000001179753120210311d2021 u| 0engurnn#008mamaatxtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrier70 Years of Levothyroxine /edited by George J. It also describes the influence of levothyroxine on heart, bone and in cancer. When it was first synthesized in 1949, levothyroxine represented a significant advance in the treatment of hypothyroidism, providing a safe and effective treatment option for millions of hypothyroid patients around the globe. This synthetic form of thyroxine is now one of the most prescribed drugs in the world. Levothyroxine was first introduced by Merck KGaA,Darmstadt, Germany, in 1972, and since then the company has remained actively engaged in research on this mainstay of hypothyroidism treatment.
