This study shows that the conflict of the text has more to do with differences of rank than poverty and wealth. The main problem is that the Christian assemblies are acting according to Roman cultural etiquette instead of their Jewish-Christian heritage when a Roman equestrian and a beggar visit the assembly. The members of the assemblies are accused of having become too Roman. From a postcolonial perspective, this is a typical case of hybrid identities. Additional key concepts from postcolonialism, such as diaspora, ‘othering’, naming of oppressors, and binarisms such as coloniser/colonised, centre/margin, honour/shame and power/powerless, are highlighted throughout the study.Biblical Interpretation Series119.ReligionHistoryElectronic books.ReligionHistory.227/.9106Mongstad-Kvammen Ingeborg975710MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910465458403321Toward a postcolonial reading of the Epistle of James2221847UNINA01302nam0 22003133i 450 CFI012829020231121125439.0225132603020160623d1982 ||||0itac50 bafrefrz01i xxxe z01nL'architecture du divinmathématique et philosophie chez Plotin et Procluspar Annick Charles-SagetParisLes belles lettres1982345 p.ill.24 cmCollection d'études anciennes001CFI00729062001 Collection d'études anciennesProcloFIRRMLC018870IPlotinoFIRRMLC019065ECharles-Saget, AnnickCFIV078549070216596ITIT-0120160623IT-FR0017 Biblioteca umanistica Giorgio ApreaFR0017 CFI0128290Biblioteca umanistica Giorgio Aprea 52CIS 5/875 52VM 0000572725 VM barcode:00056536. - Inventario:14026 MAGVMA 2005091220121204 52CIS 5/875* 52VM 0000572715 VM barcode:00056537. - Inventario:14078 MAGVMA 2005091220121204 52Architecture du divin603347UNICAS00958cam2 2200253 450 E60020004759920241016073050.020090331d2009 |||||ita|0103 baitaITArtt. 2054-2059Fatti illeciti, [Tomo II] circolazione di veicoli, responsabilità solidale, valutazione, danni non patrimoniali[scritti di] Antonio Costanzo [et al.]MilanoGiuffrè2009XXXIV, 1052 p.24 cm001E6002000475852000 Commentario al codice civileDiurni, AmaliaA600200028111070ITUNISOB20241016RICAUNISOBUNISOB340|Coll|81|K142444E600200047599M 102 Monografia moderna SBNM340|Coll|81|K000024Si142444acquistocatenacciUNISOBUNISOB20090331091329.020241016073042.0AlfanoArtt. 2054-2059854775UNISOB
