Introduction to change management in correctional organizations -- 2. Administration and guidance -- 3. Communication -- 4. Information capital -- 5. Human resource capital -- 6. Evidence-based practice -- 7. Evaluations and outcomes -- 8. Conclusion.Change is an inevitable part of any correctional institution, as new trends and initiatives constantly bombard the system. However, as budgetary constraints increasingly require correctional agencies to do more with less, a paradigm shift in the way they operate is imperative to ensure success. Correctional Administration and Change Management examines leadership, management, and organizational culture and how they apply to correctional agencies, enabling administrators to identify the changes that can be successfully implemented within the organizational context. The book begins by defining thCorrectional institutionsUnited StatesAdministrationCorrectional institutionsUnited StatesManagementElectronic books.Correctional institutionsAdministration.Correctional institutionsManagement.365.068Hurley Martha Henderson.940381Hanley Dena940382MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910464073703321Correctional administration and change management2120681UNINA03607nam 22006495 450 991092100930332120251116213935.09783031686467303168646210.1007/978-3-031-68646-7(CKB)37156002500041(MiAaPQ)EBC31875819(Au-PeEL)EBL31875819(DE-He213)978-3-031-68646-7(OCoLC)1493029654(EXLCZ)993715600250004120250104d2024 u| 0engur|||||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierSupramolecular Complexes of Oxoporphyrinogens with Organic Molecules /by Václav Březina1st ed. 2024.Cham :Springer Nature Switzerland :Imprint: Springer,2024.1 online resource (262 pages)Springer Theses, Recognizing Outstanding Ph.D. Research,2190-50619783031686450 3031686454 Introduction -- Quantitative description ofsupramolecular binding -- Nuclear magnetic resonancespectroscopy -- UV/vis spectroscopy -- Singular value decomposition -- Chromic and binding propertiesof OxP derivatives -- Dynamic processes and chemicalexchange in OxP derivatives -- Conclusion.Macrocyclic oxoporphyrinogen molecules combine the ability to form strong supramolecular complexes with organic compounds and the ability to absorb light. These properties allow high-sensitivity colorimetric detection of acids in solution in the presence of oxoporphyrinogen. Moreover, protonated oxoporphyrinogens show various molecular dynamic processes on the millisecond timescale. This book offers deep analyses of colorimetric, binding and kinetic properties of oxoporphyrinogen-acid complexes. A detailed introduction is given for: theory of supramolecular binding and chemical kinetics; NMR spectroscopy with emphasis on multi-state chemical exchange including derivation of analytical spectral lineshapes; UV/vis spectroscopy and analysis of UV/vis spectra, using singular value decomposition (SVD). Implementation of the derived models in Mathematica is also provided. The experimental part addresses SVD analysis of UV/vis spectra illuminating the effect of protonation on various oxoporphyrinogen derivatives and explaining the colorimetric response. Furthermore, analysis of chemical exchange lineshapes offers insight into the dynamic processes present in protonated oxoporphyrinogens. The various models and techniques described in this book are widely applicable for other systems.Springer Theses, Recognizing Outstanding Ph.D. Research,2190-5061AtomsMoleculesNuclear magnetic resonanceChemical detectorsAtomic, Molecular and Chemical PhysicsBio- and MacromoleculesMagnetic Resonance (NMR, EPR)SensorsAtoms.Molecules.Nuclear magnetic resonance.Chemical detectors.Atomic, Molecular and Chemical Physics.Bio- and Macromolecules.Magnetic Resonance (NMR, EPR).Sensors.539Březina Václav1782252MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910921009303321Supramolecular Complexes of Oxoporphyrinogens with Organic Molecules4308351UNINA
