The author convincingly demonstrates, contrary to convention, that in addition to the ICRC, the National Societies and the IFRC, numerous other NGOs referenced in humanitarian law treaties have a legal status in IHL and therefore legitimate claim to employ IHL provisions to respond to current challenges. On the basis of clear and thorough definitions of these entities, Barrat argues that existing NGOs meeting stringent definition can benefit from customary rights and obligations in both international and non-international armed conflict.Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Series) ;Volume 14.Non-governmental organizationsLaw and legislationHumanitarian lawElectronic books.Non-governmental organizationsLaw and legislation.Humanitarian law.341.6/7Barrat Claudie994489Abi-Saab GeorgesMiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910464034803321Status of NGOs in international humanitarian law2277428UNINA03252nam 2200793 450 991078794000332120230125182558.01-63157-020-X(CKB)2670000000571627(EBL)1816348(SSID)ssj0001536835(PQKBManifestationID)11952786(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001536835(PQKBWorkID)11511296(PQKB)10427023(OCoLC)893913700(CaBNVSL)swl00404142(Au-PeEL)EBL1816348(CaPaEBR)ebr10956093(CaONFJC)MIL651876(CaSebORM)9781631570193(MiAaPQ)EBC1816348(EXLCZ)99267000000057162720141025d2015 fy 0engur|n|---|||||txtccrEmerging and frontier markets the new frontline for global trade /Marcus Goncalves and José AlvesFirst edition.New York, New York (222 East 46th Street, New York, NY 10017) :Business Expert Press,2015.1 online resource (206 p.)Economics collection,2163-7628Part of: 2014 digital library.1-63157-019-6 1-322-20596-5 Includes bibliographical references (pages 169-186) and index.1. It is important, therefore, that international business professionals, academics and students of global trade and international markets, and anyone interested on the latest developments taking place in global trade to be able to understand, compare and contrast the primary categories of emerging market business development, including its sub-categories, or maybe more appropriately, its sibling, the frontier markets.2014 digital library.Economics collection.2163-7628International business enterprisesInternational tradeDeveloping countriesEconomic conditionsASEANBRICSCIVETSEAGLEemerging marketsfrontier marketsglobal tradeglobalizationinternational businessinternational tradeMENAtrading blocsInternational business enterprises.International trade.658.049Goncalves Marcus.753608Alves José.MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910787940003321Emerging and frontier markets3779904UNINA
