Migration intensity is as important as the original decision to migrate. For example, stricter border enforcement deters immigration but also has an unintended intensification effect whereby stricter border controls lead migrants to make fewer return trips, prolong total U.S. time, reduce remittances and move dependents to theNew Americans (LFB Scholarly Publishing LLC)Foreign workersUnited StatesMexicansUnited StatesUnited StatesEmigration and immigrationEconomic aspectsMexicoEmigration and immigrationEconomic aspectsUnited StatesEmigration and immigrationGovernment policyElectronic books.Foreign workersMexicans331.5/440973Kaufmann Florian K(Florian Kristof),1979-984548MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910462543103321Mexican labor migrants and U.S. immigration policies2249694UNINA01983nam0 22003371i 450 UON0014929120231205102915.6537-00-11913-520020107d1991 |0itac50 bagerAT|||| 1||||Terminologie der fruhen philosophischen Scholastik in IndienEin Begriffworterbuch zur altindischen Dialektik, Erkenntnislehre und MethodologieGerhard Oberhammerunter Mitarbeit von Ernst Prets und Joachim PrandstetterWienVerl. der Osterreichischen. Sector reform is long over-due, with the state dominating radio broadcasting in three-quarters of the world. Reform can have a significant impact on governance and transparency. It is time for the World Bank to turn its attention to broadcasting, where many lessons of reform apply, and where the unmet need for assistance is great. Potential activities include basic reform of sector ownership, convergence regulation to harmonize regulations covering broadcast and telecommunication infrastructure, support for community radio stations to improve access for the poor, and pilot projects in digital television to assess the potential to widen access to the internet.World Bank working paper ;no. 11.BroadcastingDeveloping countriesDeveloping countriesEconomic policyBroadcasting338.9/009172/4Kenny Charles612137Eltzroth Carter1957-1861220World Bank.MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910962581403321Broadcasting and development4467310UNINA
