During this period human societies moved from small-scale hunter-gatherer groups to complex and hierarchical communities with economies based on agriculture and industry. Dr Düring traces the spread of the Neolithic way of life, which ultimately reached across Eurasia, and the emergence of key human developments, including the domestication of animals, metallurgy, fortified towns and long-distance trading networks. Situated at the junction between Europe and Asia, Asia Minor has often been perceived as a bridge for the movement of technologies and ideas. By contrast, this book argues that cultural developments followed a distinctive trajectory in Asia Minor from as early as 9,000 BC.Prehistoric peoplesTurkeyAntiquities, PrehistoricTurkeyExcavations (Archaeology)TurkeyTurkeyAntiquitiesPrehistoric peoplesAntiquities, PrehistoricExcavations (Archaeology)939/.2Düring Bleda S.1040904UkCbUPUkCbUPBOOK9910459081503321The prehistory of Asia Minor2464103UNINA02318nam 2200649 a 450 99624813710331620221108084240.00-8147-5756-12027/heb06147(CKB)2660000000000103(dli)HEB06147(SSID)ssj0000333303(PQKBManifestationID)11929150(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000333303(PQKBWorkID)10355108(PQKB)10848276(MiU)MIU01000000000000007469179(EXLCZ)99266000000000010319880715d1981 uy 0engurmnummmmuuuutxtccrThe iconography of preface and miniature in the Byzantine Gospel book[electronic resource] /Robert S.
