By piecing together these strands of implicit evidence the author attempts to reconstruct the basic norms of the Israelite votive system. In so doing, he explains why certain 'popular religious groups' were attracted to this particular practiceJournal for the study of the Old Testament.Supplement series ;210.Vows in the BibleSociology, BiblicalElectronic books.Vows in the Bible.Sociology, Biblical.221296.72Berlinerblau Jacques881397MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910453918203321The vow and the "popular religious groups" of ancient Israel1968425UNINA
