ISVC offers a common umbrella for the four main areas of visual computing including vision, graphics, visualization, and virtual reality. Its goal is to provide a forum for researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments, and applications in the broader area of visual computing. This year, the program consisted of 14 oral sessions, 1 poster session, 6 special tracks, and 6 keynote presentations. Following a very successful ISVC 2006, the response to the call for papers was almost equally strong; we received over 270 submissions for the main symposium from which we accepted 77 papers for oral presentation and 42 papers for poster presentation. Special track papers were solicited separately through the Organizing and Program Committees of each track. A total of 32 papers were accepted for oral presentation and 5 papers for poster presentation in the special tracks.Image Processing, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and Graphics ;4842Artificial intelligencePattern recognitionOptical data processingBiometrics (Biology)Computer graphicsAlgorithmsArtificial Intelligencehttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I21000Pattern Recognitionhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I2203XImage Processing and Computer Visionhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I22021Biometricshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I22040Computer Graphicshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I22013Algorithm Analysis and Problem Complexityhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I16021Artificial intelligence.Pattern recognition.Optical data processing.Biometrics (Biology).Computer graphics.Algorithms.Artificial Intelligence.Pattern Recognition.Image Processing and Computer Vision.Biometrics.Computer Graphics.Algorithm Analysis and Problem Complexity.006.8Boyle Richardedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtParvin Bahramedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtKoracin Darkoedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtParagios Nikosedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtTanveer Syeda-Mahmoodedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtJu Taoedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtLiu Zichengedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtCoquillart Sabineedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtCruz-Neira Carolinaedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtMöller Torstenedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtMalzbender Tomedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtInternational Symposium on Visual ComputingBOOK996465530203316Advances in Visual Computing772261UNISA
