The results of excavations carried out over the last 120 years by Russian and Ukrainian archaeologists at the sites of ancient Greek colonies in the northern Black Sea, as well as sporadic chance discoveries made in these places, form a large body of material for research into various aspects of both the poleis of a non-Mediterranean colonial periphery, which was in contact with Scythian nomads, and the Greek world in general. This book is part of such research, dealing mainly with the philological-historical interpretation of epigraphic and literary texts, taking into account the research of archaeologists – as far as possible, since the author is not an archaeologist. The work contributes to studies on the relationship between polis and city; innovations in the religion of the Greeks of the far north-east; Orphic religiosity and its relationship to the origins of philosophy; ‘private justice’ (right of sylân); and the organization and…Bulletin de correspondance hellénique.Supplément ;63.Cities and towns, AncientUkraineBlack Sea LowlandGreeksUkraineBlack Sea LowlandInscriptions, GreekUkraineBlack Sea LowlandCivilization, ClassicalCivilisation ancienne(CaQQLa)201-0020940Antiquitiesfast(OCoLC)fst00810745Cities and towns, Ancientfast(OCoLC)fst00861870Civilization, Classicalfast(OCoLC)fst00862996Greeksfast(OCoLC)fst00947546Inscriptions, Greekfast(OCoLC)fst00973878Olbia (Ukraine : Extinct city)Black Sea Lowland (Ukraine)AntiquitiesOlbia (Ukraine : Ville ancienne)UkraineBlack Sea LowlandfastUkraineOlbia (Extinct city)fastGreek religionBlack SeaOrpheussocial organizationGreek cityGreek WorldCities and towns, AncientGreeksInscriptions, GreekCivilization, Classical.Civilisation ancienne.Antiquities.Cities and towns, Ancient.Civilization, Classical.Greeks.Inscriptions, Greek.Bravo Benedetto185284PULPULBOOK9910548299303321Pontica varia2812222UNINA12834nam 2204465z- 450 991055733930332120231214133147.0(CKB)5400000000042485(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/76418(EXLCZ)99540000000004248520202201d2021 |y 0engurmn|---annantxtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierMarine Compounds and Cancer 2020Basel, SwitzerlandMDPI - Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute20211 electronic resource (480 p.)3-0365-0630-6 3-0365-0631-4 The very first marine-derived anticancer drug, Cytarabine (aka Ara-C, Cytosar-U®), was approved by the FDA in 1969 for the treatment of leukemia. At the beginning of 2021, the list of approved marine-derived anticancer drugs consists of nine substances, five of which received approval within the last two years, demonstrating the rapid evolution of the field. The current book is a collection of scientific articles related to the exponentially growing field of anticancer marine compounds. These articles cover the whole field, from agents with cancer-preventive activity, to novel and previously characterized compounds with anticancer activity, both in vitro and in vivo, as well as the latest status of compounds under clinical development.Medicinebicsscapoptosisfucoidanhepatocellular carcinomareactive oxygen species3-alkylpyridinium polymersnicotinenicotinic acetylcholine receptornon-small cell lung carcinomamelanomasinulariolideproteomicmitochondriacaspase cascademarine fungussedimentanthranilic acidPenicillium paneumcytotoxicitydibromotyrosinemitochondrial dysfunctionoxidative stresstopoisomeraseepigonal organbonnethead sharkJurkattumor cell linehippuristanolPELAP-1STAT3Aktcolorectal cancermarine molluscbrominated indolesshrimpchemopreventionfatty acidscarotenoidscancernanoparticleosteosarcomalung metastasiselisidepsinlipid raftshydroxylated lipidsfatty acid 2-hydroxylasecooperative bindingmembrane permeabilizationmarine organismspolysaccharidesanticanceranticarcinogenicmechanisms of actionfumigaclavine Canti-proliferationmitochondrial pathwayanti-canceranti-proliferativecarotenoidcell cycle arrestfucoxanthinazoxymethanebioactive natural productisatinin vivo modelMarthasterias glacialis L.palmitic acidER-stressCHOPAntibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs)marine antitumor agentsclinical trialsapproved antitumor agentsAD0157angiogenesismarine drugpyrrolidinedionesecondary metabolitescancer preventivechemopreventivetrabectedinplitidepsintumor-associated macrophagestumor microenvironmentpreclinicalanticancer immunityantiangiogenesisfascaplysincyclin-dependent kinasesmall cell lung cancercamptothecinpoly(ADP-ribose)-polymerase inhibitorbreast cancerseaweedtherapeutic compoundsautophagymarine drugsautophagy inhibitorsautophagy inducersmacrolideprogrammed cell deathenergy stressaraguspongine Cc-MetHER2gemcitabinepazopanibphase Isafetysoft tissue sarcomapachastrissaminejaspine Bcarbocyclic analoguesphingosine kinase inhibitormolecular modelingET-743DNA minor groove bindersoft tissue sarcomachemotherapybis (2,3-dibromo-4,5-dihydroxy-phenyl)-methane (BDDPM)anti-metastatic activitycell adhesionβ1-integrinFAKBEL-7402 celltriterpene glycosidessea cucumbersantitumor activitiesarrest of cell cycleantibacterialmarangucyclinesdeep-seaStreptomyces sp.
