In this important book, the authors examine how changes, such as cuts in welfare provision, migration, urbanization and individualisation influence intergenerational relations. The collection addresses theoretical and policy issues connecting age and generation with the family and social policy, and focuses both on cross-cultural comparisoRoutledge/European Sociological Association studies in European societies ;2.Intergenerational relationsEuropeConflict of generationsEuropeIntergenerational relationsConflict of generations306.87/094Arber Sara1949-1547406Attias-Donfut Claudine141922MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910779944003321The myth of generational conflict3803764UNINA04012nam 2200529 a 450 991043812590332120200520144314.03-642-35503-X10.1007/978-3-642-35503-5(CKB)2550000001045359(EBL)1206082(SSID)ssj0000878897(PQKBManifestationID)11463737(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000878897(PQKBWorkID)10837338(PQKB)10257871(DE-He213)978-3-642-35503-5(MiAaPQ)EBC1206082(PPN)168328801(EXLCZ)99255000000104535920130204d2013 uy 0engur|n|---|||||txtccrFemale alopecia guide to successful management /Ralph M. Fortunately, a specific diagnosis can usually be established through a detailed patient history, examination of the scalp and pattern of hair loss, a simple pull test, dermoscopy of the scalp and hair (trichoscopy), a few pertinent screening blood tests, and, in selected cases, a scalp biopsy. Once the diagnosis has been established, treatment appropriate to the diagnosis is likely to control the problem. The aim of this comprehensively illustrated monograph is to provide both specialists and primary care physicians with the practical know-how required for successful management of hair loss in female patients of all ages. The book opens by critically examining myths about hair loss. The different examination techniques are then described, and the various forms of hair loss and their treatment are discussed in detail. Approaches to follow-up are outlined, and the management of patient expectations is carefully considered. The potential role of hair care and cosmetics is also explored in some depth. .BaldnessBaldness.616.5616.5460082Trueb Ralph M0MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910438125903321Female Alopecia2200001UNINA
