Manifold sustainability issues are closely interconnected with land use practices. Throughout the world, we face increasing conflict over the use of land as well as competition for land. Drawing on experience in sustainable land management gained from seven years of the FONA programme (Research for Sustainable Development, conducted under the auspices of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research), The book stresses and highlights co-design processes within the “co-creation of knowledge”, involving collaboration in transdisciplinary research processes between academia and other stakeholders. The book begins with an overview of the current state of land use practices and the subsequent need to manage land resources more sustainably. New system solutions and governance approaches in sustainable land management are presented from a European perspective on land use. The volume also addresses how to use new modes of knowledge transfer between science and practice. New perspectives in sustainable land management and methods of combining knowledge and action are presented to a broad readership in land system sciences and environmental sciences, social sciences and geosciences.Human-Environment Interactions,2214-2339 ;8.Sustainable developmentRegional economicsSpatial economicsEnvironmental geographyHuman geographySociologySustainable Developmenthttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U34000Regional/Spatial Sciencehttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W49000Environmental Geographyhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/J19010Human Geographyhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/X26000Knowledge - Discoursehttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/X22120Sustainable DevelopmentRegional/Spatial ScienceEnvironmental GeographyHuman GeographyKnowledge - DiscourseEnvironmental Social SciencesRegional and Spatial EconomicsEnvironmental StudiesBiotechnologyOpen AccessSustainable land managementSystem solutionsGovernance of landTransdisciplinarity InterdisciplinarityKnowledge managementSustainabilityPolitical economyRegional studiesDevelopment & environmental geographyHuman geographySociologySustainable development.Regional economics.Spatial economics.Environmental geography.Human geography.Sociology.Sustainable Development.Regional/Spatial Science.Environmental Geography.Human Geography.Knowledge - Discourse.338.927Weith Thomasedt1366911Weith Thomasedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtBarkmann Timedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtGaasch Nadinedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtRogga Sebastianedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtStrauß Christianedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtZscheischler Janaedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtUkMaJRUBOOK9910418353903321Sustainable land management in a European context3389431UNINA04791nam 2200577 450 991016435830332120230807214107.0612-46792-8-0(CKB)3710000000376737(EBL)1987901(SSID)ssj0001495054(PQKBManifestationID)11839564(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001495054(PQKBWorkID)11449098(PQKB)11408334(MiAaPQ)EBC1987901(EXLCZ)99371000000037673720150326h20152015 uy 0spaur|n|---|||||txtccrLibro de Oratoria ¡Expresémonos bien!
