In this paper we extend the BMA framework to panel data models where the lagged dependent variable as well as endogenous variables appear as regressors. We propose a Limited Information Bayesian Model Averaging (LIBMA) methodology and then test it using simulated data. Simulation results suggest that asymptotically our methodology performs well both in Bayesian model selection and averaging. In particular, LIBMA recovers the data generating process very well, with high posterior inclusion probabilities for all the relevant regressors, and parameter estimates very close to the true values. These findings suggest that our methodology is well suited for inference in dynamic panel data models with short time periods in the presence of endogenous regressors under model uncertainty.IMF Working Papers; Working Paper ;No. 2009/074Panel analysisBayesian statistical decision theoryEconometricsimfData ProcessingimfBayesian Analysis: GeneralimfEstimationimfData Collection and Data Estimation MethodologyimfComputer Programs: GeneralimfBayesian inferenceimfEconometrics & economic statisticsimfData capture & analysisimfBayesian modelsimfEstimation techniquesimfData processingimfEconometric modelsimfElectronic data processingimfPanel analysis.Bayesian statistical decision theory.EconometricsData ProcessingBayesian Analysis: GeneralEstimationData Collection and Data Estimation MethodologyComputer Programs: GeneralBayesian inferenceEconometrics & economic statisticsData capture & analysisBayesian modelsEstimation techniquesData processingEconometric modelsElectronic data processingMirestean Alin1472716Tsangarides Charalambos1462110Chen Huigang1472717DcWaIMFBOOK9910788337703321Limited Information Bayesian Model Averaging for Dynamic Panels with Short Time Periods3685582UNINA03396nam 22005293 450 991036765220332120251116175627.097898772243829877224380(CKB)4100000010104938(MiAaPQ)EBC6424163(Au-PeEL)EBL6424163(OCoLC)1228039318(Exl-AI)6424163(oapen)117262(EXLCZ)99410000001010493820210901d2019 uy 0porurcnu||||||||txtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierBoaventura de Sousa Santos Construindo As Epistemologias Do Sul para Um Pensamento Alternativo de Alternativas, Volume ICLACSO2019Buenos Aires :Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales,2019.©2019.1 online resource (690 pages)AntologiÌas del pensamiento social latinoamericano y caribenÌo9789877223781 9877223783 Sumário -- Prefácio: Inventar outras ciências sociais -- Prólogo -- VOLUME I -- Parte I Pensando desde o Sul e com o Sul -- Apresentação -- Um discurso sobre as ciências -- Não disparem sobre o utopista -- O Norte, o Sul e a utopia -- As ecologias dos saberes -- Tradução intercultural: Diferir e partilhar con passionalità -- Introdução às epistemologias do Sul -- Parte II Teoria social para outro mundo possível -- Apresentação: Reinventando aimaginação sociológica para rebeldias competentes -- O Estado e a sociedade na semiperiferia do sistema mundial:O caso português -- Os processos da globalização -- A queda do Angelus Novus: Para além da equaçãomoderna entre raízes e opções -- Nuestra América: Reinventar um paradigma subalternode reconhecimento e redistribuição -- Entre Próspero e Caliban: Colonialismo,pós-colonialismo e inter-identidade -- Para além do pensamento abissal: Das linhas globaisa uma ecologia de saberes -- As identidades das crises -- Sobre o autor -- Sobre os organizadoresGenerated by AI.This anthology, edited by Boaventura de Sousa Santos and others, explores the concept of 'thinking from the South,' challenging dominant Eurocentric epistemologies and advocating for alternative social theories. It emphasizes the importance of cognitive justice by giving equal space to diverse voices and experiences from the Global South. With a focus on social movements, legal pluralism, and the reinvention of democracy and education, the book aims to construct a framework for a more equitable and inclusive world. It targets scholars and activists interested in critical social sciences and the decolonization of knowledge.Generated by AI.Boaventura de Sousa SantosDecolonizationGenerated by AISocial sciencesGenerated by AIDecolonizationSocial sciencesSantos Boaventura de Sousa254424Meneses Maria Paula846492Nunes João Arriscado846493MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910367652203321Boaventura de Sousa Santos1897135UNINA
