However information on toxicity ecotoxicity and environmental fate on bromophenols other than 2 4 6-TBP is very limited. On the basis of the very limited data on concentrations of bromophenols in waters and sediment the present risk to aquatic organisms from 2 4 6-TBP in sediment would appear to be low.
