The purpose of this monograph is not to propose yet another method for blind image restoration. Rather the basic issue of deconvolvability has been explored from a theoretical view point. Some authors claim very good results while quite a few claim that blind restoration does not work. The authors clearly detail when such methods are expected to work and when they will not. In order to avoid the assumptions needed for convergence analysis in the Fourier domain, the authors use a general method of convergence analysis used for alternate minimization based on three point and four point properties of the points in the image space. The authors prove that all points in the image space satisfy the three point property and also derive the conditions under which four point property is satisfied. This provides the conditions under which alternate minimization for blind deconvolution converges with a quadratic prior. Since the convergence properties depend on the chosen priors, one should design priors that avoid trivial solutions. Hence, a sparsity based solution is also provided for blind deconvolution, by using image priors having a cost that increases with the amount of blur, which is another way to prevent trivial solutions in joint estimation. This book will be a highly useful resource to the researchers and academicians in the specific area of blind deconvolution.Optical data processingSignal processingImage processingSpeech processing systemsImage Processing and Computer Visionhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I22021Signal, Image and Speech Processinghttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/T24051Optical data processing.Signal processing.Image processing.Speech processing systems.Image Processing and Computer Vision.Signal, Image and Speech Processing.004006.37006.6621.382Chaudhuri Subhasisauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut846530Velmurugan Rajbabuauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autRameshan Renuauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/autBOOK9910298975503321Blind Image Deconvolution2060911UNINA05622nam 22007215 450 991030414310332120251116223330.01-4899-7497-010.1007/978-1-4899-7497-6(CKB)3710000000261346(EBL)1965014(OCoLC)893975691(SSID)ssj0001372118(PQKBManifestationID)11766863(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001372118(PQKBWorkID)11301527(PQKB)10682400(DE-He213)978-1-4899-7497-6(MiAaPQ)EBC1965014(PPN)182093131(EXLCZ)99371000000026134620141014d2015 u| 0engur|n|---|||||txtccrHandbook of Adolescent Behavioral Problems Evidence-Based Approaches to Prevention and Treatment /edited by Thomas P. Epilogue. The Second Edition of the Handbook of Adolescent Behavioral Problems clarifies the current state of treatment and prevention through comprehensive examinations of mental disorders and dysfunctional behaviors as well as the varied forces affecting their development. New or revised chapters offer a basic framework for approaching mental health concerns in youth and provide the latest information on how conditions (e.g., bipolar disorder, suicidality, and OCD) and behaviors (e.g., sex offenses, gang activities, dating violence, and self-harm) manifest in adolescents. Each chapter offers diagnostic guidance, up-to-date findings on prevalence, biological/genetic aspects, risk and resilience factors, and a practical review of prevention and treatment methods. Best-practice recommendations clearly differentiate among what works, what might work, what doesn't work, and what needs further research across modalities, including pharmacotherapy. Key topics addressed include: Families and adolescent development. Adolescent mental health and the DSM-5. Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorder. Autism spectrum disorder. Media and technology addiction. School failure versus school success. Bullying and cyberbullying. The Second Edition of the Handbook of Adolescent Behavior Problems is a must-have reference for researchers, clinicians, allied practitioners and professionals, and graduate students in school and clinical child psychology, education, pediatrics, psychiatry, social work, school counseling, and public health.Child psychologySchool psychologyPsychiatryPsychotherapyCounselingChild and School Psychologyhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/Y12040Psychiatryhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H53003Psychotherapy and Counselinghttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/Y12010Child psychology.School psychology.Psychiatry.Psychotherapy.Counseling.Child and School Psychology.Psychiatry.Psychotherapy and Counseling.150155.4155424361.3Gullotta Thomas Pedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtPlant Robert Wedthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtEvans Melanie A.edthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edtBOOK9910304143103321Handbook of Adolescent Behavioral Problems2067199UNINA
