CFS measures the simultaneous thermal fluctuations of two closely-spaced atomic force microscopy (AFM) cantilevers.  CFS then calculates the cross-correlation in the thermal fluctuations that gives the mechanical properties of the matter that spans the gap of the two cantilevers. The book also discusses development of CFS, its advantages over AFM, and its application in single molecule force spectroscopy and micro-rheology.Springer Theses, Recognizing Outstanding Ph.D. Research,2190-5053Spectrum analysisMicroscopyAtomic structureMolecular structureChemical engineeringSpectroscopy/Spectrometryhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/C11020Spectroscopy and Microscopyhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P31090Atomic/Molecular Structure and Spectrahttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/P24017Industrial Chemistry/Chemical Engineeringhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/C27000Spectrum analysis.Microscopy.Atomic structure.Molecular structure.Chemical engineering.Spectroscopy/Spectrometry.Spectroscopy and Microscopy.Atomic/Molecular Structure and Spectra.Industrial Chemistry/Chemical Engineering.539.6Radiom Miladauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut994059MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910298615103321Correlation Force Spectroscopy for Single Molecule Measurements2276632UNINA
