The author approaches this study using qualitative research and multiple semi-structured in-depth interviews with a strong philosophical and methodological basis. Taking a phenomenological stance, the empirical results reveal many nuanced shades of bi-cultural identity. Key findings include a range of social creativity behaviors, also offering an extension to social identity theory by means of re-defining relevant in-groups. Financial investments are considered a family affair, with children being heavily involved and support of (extended) family is defined as investment. Within that realm, German social identity prevails with regard to financial investments.Contributions to Management Science,1431-1941FinanceEconomicsSociological aspectsDevelopment economicsFinance, generalhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/600000Organizational Studies, Economic Sociologyhttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/X22020Development Economicshttps://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W42000Finance.EconomicsSociological aspects.Development economics.Finance, general.Organizational Studies, Economic Sociology.Development Economics.306.3330338.9657.8333658.152Stumpfegger Evaauthttp://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut1064029BOOK9910298492603321Social Identity and Financial Investment Decisions2535935UNINA04039nam 2201177z- 450 991067403770332120210501(CKB)5400000000042737(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/68368(oapen)doab68368(EXLCZ)99540000000004273720202105d2021 |y 0engurmn|---annantxtrdacontentcrdamediacrrdacarrierSámi ReligionReligious Identities, Practices and DynamicsBasel, SwitzerlandMDPI - Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute20211 online resource (198 p.)3-03943-727-5 3-03943-728-3 "Sámi Religion: Religious Identities, Practices, and Dynamics" explores expressions of ''Sámi religion'' in contemporary cultures, the role it plays in identity politics and heritagization processes, and the ways the past and present are entangled.
