In the first part of the study, data protection issues are analysed. The main focus is on the Data Protection Directive (95/46/EC) and its implementation in selected EU Member States. Additionally, the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679/EU) and relevant changes are described. Special focus is placed on leading data protection principles. Next, the study describes the use of research data in the Open Research Data Pilot and how data protection principles influence such use. The experiences of the European Commission in running the Open Research Data Pilot so far, as well as basic examples of repository use forms, are considered. The second part of the study analyses the extent to which legislation on public sector information (PSI) influences access to and re-use of research data. The PSI Directive (2003/98/EC) and the impact of its revision in 2013 (2013/37/EU) are described. There is a special focus on the application of PSI legislation to public libraries, including university and research libraries, and its practical implications. In the final part of the study the results are critically evaluated and core recommendations are made to improve the legal situation in relation to research data.LawbicsscLawWiebe Andreasaut727684Dietrich NilsautBOOK9910245733903321Open Data Protection - Study on legal barriers to open data sharing - Data Protection and PSI2235203UNINA02164oam 2200493I 450 991015857250332120230810001727.01-315-27626-71-351-99583-91-351-99584-710.4324/9781315276267 (CKB)3710000001010651(MiAaPQ)EBC4779387(OCoLC)970389625(BIP)56235192(BIP)56235175(EXLCZ)99371000000101065120180706e20171971 uy 0engurcnu||||||||rdacontentrdamediardacarrierSex, career and family including an international review of Women's roles /Michael P. Conclusions. In this book, first published in 1971, the authors show from first-hand studies of family and working life (and with evidence from many countries, including the socialist societies of Eastern Europe) the nature of the discrimination facing women in the professions - and how various family and employment patterns might contribute to solving it. Their point is not that some new stereotype should be substituted for traditional views of the role of husbands and wives: different patterns fit different situations.WomenEmploymentWomenEmployment.331.4Fogarty Michael1916-2001.,126683Rapoport Rhona143007Rapoport Robert N125305MiAaPQMiAaPQMiAaPQBOOK9910158572503321Sex, career and family2439348UNINA
