Lebanon has maintained financial stability for the last quarter century during repeated shocks and challenges. Over time, macroeconomic and financial vulnerabilities have accumulated. Although central bank policies have helped to maintain confidence, fiscal adjustment is needed to reduce risks to financial stability. The banking system has thus far proven resilient to domestic shocks and regional turmoil, but the materialization of severe shocks could expose vulnerabilities. Significant progress has been made to further strengthen Lebanon’s financial integrity framework, with some scope for improvement remaining.IMF Staff Country Reports; Country Report ;No. 2017/021Financial statementsBanks and BankingimfFinance: GeneralimfIndustries: Financial ServicesimfCriminologyimfBanksimfDepository InstitutionsimfMicro Finance InstitutionsimfMortgagesimfGeneral Financial Markets: Government Policy and RegulationimfFinancial Institutions and Services: Government Policy and RegulationimfIllegal Behavior and the Enforcement of LawimfBankingimfFinanceimfCorporate crimeimfwhite-collar crimeimfFinancial sector stabilityimfFinancial servicesimfCommercial banksimfAnti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT)imfFinancial sector policy and analysisimfLoansimfFinancial institutionsimfCrimeimfBanks and bankingimfFinancial services industryimfMoney launderingimfLebanonimfFinancial statements.Banks and BankingFinance: GeneralIndustries: Financial ServicesCriminologyBanksDepository InstitutionsMicro Finance InstitutionsMortgagesGeneral Financial Markets: Government Policy and RegulationFinancial Institutions and Services: Government Policy and RegulationIllegal Behavior and the Enforcement of LawBankingFinanceCorporate crimewhite-collar crimeFinancial sector stabilityFinancial servicesCommercial banksAnti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT)Financial sector policy and analysisLoansFinancial institutionsCrimeBanks and bankingFinancial services industryMoney laundering657.3DcWaIMFBOOK9910162924203321Lebanon226843UNINA
